  1. I don't think we undervalued the position as much as Ian Thomas just utterly failed to develop. He played better as a rookie than he has at any point since.
  2. Remmers is playing LT? Good lord, get Mahomes out of the game.
  3. I don't think they're going to let you treat a QBs head like a piƱata again, especially after seeing Mahomes nearly knocked out of the playoffs.
  4. Bills have to go for this. McD has to find his balls. He's bitched out on way too many calls tonight.
  5. That's a concussion. I'm sure he'll be cleared by tomorrow morning though. LOL!
  6. He is. I think he's the most intriguing QB prospect at the Senior Bowl. I don't want to come down on Jones too hard. He's very smart. He's very accurate. He could definitely help himself in the Senior Bowl environment where he's removed from his dominant roster helping him. But, he's very limited physically. His arm is average. His mobility is non-existent. I mean, those things are true of Tom Brady too, but there's a very, very long list of disappointing NFL QBs who fit that criteria and only one Tom Brady.
  7. Yep. In key situations the Chiefs have been able to get a lot of pressure and they've been able to get it almost instantly.
  8. I wouldn't mind getting Stafford. A 1st makes me hesitant though. He's going to be 33 and I think only has two more years left on his contract.
  9. It means we didn't learn poo from the Teddy mistake. You don't waste your time with severely physically limited QBs.
  10. Gotta come out of this off-season with one of the two or one of the "big four" rookies or it's a fail. If we move on Mac Jones then I don't think we learned poo from the Teddy fail. I think Mac Jones is probably a Teddy-ish type QB at the NFL level.
  11. You need an elite talent at QB to compete for championships in today's NFL. Simple as that.
  12. I agree. I hated it. But I think Rhule and Brady had to experience it to learn it.
  13. You aren't beating the Chiefs kicking FGs of the old XP distance.
  14. It's one of the things college coaches have to learn at the NFL level. They see a guy like Teddy who is smart and safe and think their brilliant schemes will make up for the deficiencies. Not at QB.
  15. I tried to tell everyone right after the signing that we had just signed a really, REALLY physically limited QB.
  16. Watching the QBs play today really rubs it in how limited we were this year at the position.
  17. All he needs to do is stay healthy. An injury could derail him at anytime as it could anyone in football, but barring that I don't see anything else that will.
  18. Yep. You can play the "coach 'em up" game to a certain degree in the NFL, but not at QB. You need a legit talent at that position to win consistently.
  19. Agreed. He'll need a lot of luck on the injury front as everyone does, but he's the best I've ever seen.
  20. Meanwhile, Kelce is crazy reminiscent of prime Gronkoswki. Probably not as strong, but faster.
