I have no idea how this game is tied. GT is owning the LOS. They've done some really dumb offensive play calling. They're QB kinda sucks and they keep trying down field shots. I get it, the UNC secondary gives up numerous deep balls every week but your QB just isn't even coming close.

Good lord GT's D just dominated us. Zero separation from WRs so they're just absolutely stacking the box to take away Hampton and then a strip sack turnover on 3rd and long. I don't even know what to even do about that from a play calling standpoint. They just look flat out better than us. I feel for Omarion Hampton just like I did Drake Maye last year. It pains me to admit it but the elite talents that emerge should be transferring out of this program for their own good. Hampton and Nesbitt should've transferred. I think the level of give a fug has just about bottomed out. I politely declined free tickets to this game. I don't know if the family friend PSL owner ever found someone to take them. I mean, that's how bad it is. Barely over an hour away from BOA and you're literally struggling to give away tickets for free because people don't want to waste a Sunday on it.

Asheville is pretty much the one place in WNC I try to actively avoid but I hope it bounces back as quickly as possible.

It'll probably take years to get it fully reopened through western NC. The next phase of this disaster is going to be the economic disaster to follow in WNC. Asheville is the economic center of the region and is pretty much the epicenter of the destruction and the Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited national park in the country. I fear that the economic fallout is going to be massive.

It's not really new. This stuff seemed to start back in my college days in the early '00s when ESPN migrated to pretty much all of their non-live sports, non-SportsCenter content being these screamo opinion shows where they just argue with each other with hot takes.

It used to be cheap and old people hate cold. Now it's no longer cheap. Same thing is happening out west in Arizona. Arizona is basically the Florida of the west.

The scheme and play calling can't cover for the lack of talent but what shouldn't be overlooked is that Evero evidently played a major role in the defensive acquisitions. He may be an alright DC but if he sticks around he shouldn't be a part of the scouting process and honestly it's hard to rationalize keeping a coach around who can't contribute to the personnel discussions. It's just part of the job. Like you're the one running this side of the ball. You need to be able to communicate and help identify the types of players you're looking for.
