  1. Yeah, looked like an ankle sprain to me. The devil will be in the details.
  2. Chuba was definitely our best RB yesterday
  3. So far, the most fitting definition of that "shutdown" moniker for Horn has been his status on Sundays.
  4. We all read all the scouting reports. It's go time. Show me.
  5. Yeah, Manning's arm was good, not elite. Brady's arm seemed to get notably stronger over the course of his career.
  6. Read. I said his arm wasn't elite, it was good. Bryce's arm is average. Peyton's arm in his prime was better than what I've seen out of Bryce. Bryce's arm is in the Mac Jones range.
  7. I think a lot of folks don't recall Manning in his prime because of how diminished he was at the end.
  8. Peyton's arm wasn't elite but it was good. Better than Bryce's. Don't let the old frankenneck version make you forget.
  9. You're kidding yourself if you think Peyton and Eli wouldn't have both gone #1 overall this year. Eli had elite physical tools and Peyton had everything you want except mobility.
  10. Hopefully far enough to get Tepper to sell because at that point I will be convinced that he's turned us into the new version of the Browns and we'll be bottom dwellers for as long as he's the one ultimately calling the shots.
  11. We'll see what the Jets do. Everyone is trying to crown them already but that's yet to be seen. Hard to build the type of roster you need to lure an elite QB if you make a big trade up for a bust. The Niners already had a great roster when they made their blunder then won the lottery landing Purdy.
  12. Yeah, Love sat. That's not the norm in today's NFL though. All the first round rookie QBs this year were week one starters.
  13. If that's what you think. But I'm telling you, if Bryce busts everybody is getting fired and it's another reset minus a landing a Purdy or Howell in the late rounds scenario.
  14. That and there's just no such thing as anything close to a complete roster in the NFL with the hard salary cap. Every roster has weak points and depth issues. I mean, we went 15-1 with a very flawed overall offensive roster.
  15. Yeah, can't say that I was impressed in the least with his play calling.
  16. Yeah, you don't get to pick and choose when you land your franchise QB. When you think there's a chance you just have to shoot your shot. If you swing and miss you're gonna get fired. If you fail to ever swing you're still gonna get fired. Just the way the NFL goes. Not For Long doesn't just apply to players.
  17. Because it's about the future. They didn't make that move for Bryce for this year. They made it with the next 10+ years in mind. Time will tell whether or not the gamble pays off but yeah, it's gonna be a huge setback if it doesn't and that would lead to yet another house cleaning under Tepper.
  18. We lost the game on turnovers. It's hard to win games at any level when you're -3 in the turnover column. It's REALLY hard to do it at the NFL level.
  19. The Red Rifle is shot and we've mortgaged the future of the franchise on a physically limited but supposedly super NFL ready QB. I just don't see any benefit to letting him "sit and learn". Learn what? The biggest thing he has to do is adjust to the speed and complexity of the NFL game in real time on the field. Gotta play to do that. You aren't learning that on the sideline.
  20. I haven't watched the video myself, but you might want to look into how DG treats their employees. I mean, I realize employee exploitation is very much the norm in America but holy poo does DG ever take it to another level.
  21. I'm honestly assuming on the second one that he just flat out didn't see the defender. It happens.
  22. The first one I think a guy with a hose maybe gets it in there. It'd still be ill advised. The second one was just all around bad though.
  23. I mean, I'm not complaining. I think it was smart player management IMO. It's just dumb to have your best players out there when you're out of contention if they're already banged up. It's a different story if you're fighting for a playoff berth.
