  1. Hell, I'd trade them Bryce for a plate of that Cincinnati chili. Then I'd do with it what any self respecting person would do with that slop
  2. I'd rather watch Anthony Richardson run the wildcat than watch Bryce floating ducks.
  3. Dalton for Browning straight up? Okay, deal.
  4. Show me anyone who has been as bad as Bryce through 30 games and turned into a serviceable player much less a star. Getting 30 games while being as terrible as he has been is a monumental achievement in and of itself.
  5. Yew tew kin ketch duh gayme winnahs if yew ete dis hur traysh sammich gur-own-teed ta gib yew dis-un-tur-ee! I'm just kidding. I love his accent - signed someone who sounds like he was found under a rock in a backwoods Appalachian holler. LOL
  6. I mean, you just laid it out for yourself. He can't get open and he can't catch contested passes. That translates to being useless as a WR.
  7. Unless you're on defense in which case you're riding the pine behind someone who should be loading trucks at the local Amazon warehouse.
  8. How can he hold him accountable? Legette has a signature BOA sandwich and every other post the Panthers made on social media this off-season was something about him. The Panthers seemed poised as an organization to try to make him the face of the franchise.
  9. Played better??? That's just embarrassing.
  10. Somebody needs to get in his head and let him know that without football all that almost certainly disappears. His marketability is directly tied to him being a football player. With that said, I just don't think he's an NFL WR. To last in the league I think he's going to have to bust his ass and become a gadget type of player along the lines of Cordarrelle Patterson or Laviska Shenault. The big hurdle being that I haven't seen him show near the talent for playmaking with the ball in his hands as those guys.
  11. It would probably be more likely to happen after week 4 or 5. Bryce gets benched again, then Dalton goes out there and either gets injured or looks like dog poo and then it happens.
  12. My preferred reaction would be sending a late round pick for a Sam Howell or Jameis Winston.
  13. It's wild how hard Arizona tried to give us that game and we were like, nah we good.
  14. Those GMs took calculated risks and they won. No one would be complaining about that pick if he had bounced back and proved to be an elite NFL RB. But reality is what it is and when you take a calculated risk and lose you gotta own it. No one would be clowning Bryce for being five foot nothing a hundred and nothing pounds of he was out there looking like Drew Brees but we took a calculated risk and we lost.
  15. The talking point is that Bryce sucks and we're losing games in large part because Bryce sucks. It's the folks desperately trying to cling to hope who have to come up with alternate narratives. The reality is what it is and our record is what it is. Is Bryce the only issue we have? No. Far from it. Is he part of the problem though? Absolutely. The focus is on him because the QB always gets too much credit when things are going well and too much blame when it isn't. That's just the reality of the QB position. But we traded a fortune to get Bryce because we thought we were getting a guy who could help carry our team and instead we got a guy who has to be carried and now due to the trade we're struggling to put the type of roster around him that might give him a chance to at least be serviceable. We failed both ourselves and Bryce with that trade. Now let me he clear, I don't think he's a starting NFL QB, period. But he's certainly not a starting NFL QB if he's on an offensive roster that isn't absolutely elite.
  16. Don't forget that practically their entire starting secondary was out of the game with injuries by this point in the game.
  17. What worked on previous possessions was no longer relevant. Arizona was no longer focusing on containment rush with soft zone behind it. They were playing aggressively again. The biggest thing that changed on that possession is that Arizona was just forced to actually start playing D again vs. hanging back simply trying to avoid giving up a big chunk play.
  18. I want to see if Bryce was ignoring open receivers in the short to mid-range. We needed to move fast but we didn't necessarily need big chunks. We had time to have some 8-10 yard plays.
  19. It always seems stupid when it results in failure. I want to see it. The whole field. What was there?
  20. Yeah, I want to see if there was anything there. It's hard to tell on the television footage. I'm not gonna go through the torture of watching the entire game but yeah, I wanna see that last drive.
  21. Yeah, Bryce actually started playing when we had nothing left to play for. Kinda like yesterday.
  22. It's not just "week two". Bryce has started 30 games at this point and it's still the same poo. Unless the opposing defense is playing Charmin soft and we seemingly have nothing to play for, Bryce can't do anything. I'd rather try to land a Jameis Winston or Sam Howell for a late round pick than play Hooker but at this point we gotta try something else.
  23. Brooks isn't "unfortunate". We drafted a RB coming off of a torn ACL. I give GMs a pass for drafting guys that run into injury issues while having no medical red flags coming in. It's football, it happens. But when you draft a guy with medical red flags and then he continues to get injured you gotta own that. You took a calculated risk and lost.
  24. I want to see the All 22 footage of that final "drive".
