  1. Yeah, that's the big problem. College sports has basically turned into free agency where everyone is on a one year deal and there's no salary cap. That's an untenable situation.
  2. The NCAA is gonna have to figure out some type of framework for this stuff. I'm all for the players getting compensated but it can't be a wild west situation.
  3. It certainly seems this way. You'd think that would be a real eye opener for David Tepper considering that virtually every media outlet ranks the Panthers as the most desirable job opening. If we're getting passed up left and right, Tepper is basically left with himself as the only real reason why. Wealthy folks get really confused by problems they can't solve simply by throwing money at it.
  4. Other people call this actually having a moral compass. The fact that you'll never forgive some of our fans for having a moral compass says everything anyone needs to know about you.
  5. Literally every mod on this site has warned Juan for clickbait thread title multiple times. He knows it.
  6. Damn it, Juan. How many times do we have to earn you about these bullshit clickbait thread titles? I fixed it but one of these days you're gonna do this poo when one of us is having a bad day and get smoked.
  7. I haven't followed the NBA I'm years but that guy looks like a complete freak. He's like Giannis but even freakier. Like something produced in a lab specifically designed to dominate at basketball.
  8. I can actually root for a team coached by Steve Wilks. Can't say the same for a team coached by Sean Payton. So yeah, no brainer. I'd take Wilks all day everyday in this scenario.
  9. I wish literally anyone this side of Vladimir Putin with the resources to do so would've bought this team rather than David Tepper.
  10. So on the case that the realtor is just a leech on the deal and doing nothing but pocketing his commission it's possible. Sure. Agreed. Simply because the same thing would've happened without realtors involved at all, minus 5-6%.
  11. A lot of truth to this. Mike Martz was an offensive wunderkind... until he wasn't.
  12. Professionalism or not, it's an impossibility to represent the best interests of both parties in a transaction where both parties are seeking to get the best possible terms in the deal.
  13. This fanbase trashed Sean Payton for years for being a piece of poo. Now you get teased with the possibility of maybe winning a few games with him at the helm and you're salivating. I mean, just go ahead and say it with your chest. You stand for nothing.
  14. Definitely done as long as Payton is here but honestly it might be my final straw with David Tepper.
  15. I'm not driving the Johnson train by any means. Honestly, Steichen would be my preference. The one thing I know for damn sure is I do not want Sean Payton. I'll never root for a team coached by the guy who oversaw Bountygate. That's just a red line for me.
  16. I don't want Wilks but hiring Sean Payton is a redline for me.
  17. My precise reaction toward any and all Panthers fans who are excited about the potential of hiring Sean Payton.
  18. Yep. Justin Fields has definitely shown promise but if there was an Andrew Luck or a Trevor Lawrence type prospect in this draft the Bears would be taking him and trading Fields.
  19. If he was a "sure thing" then he'd be going #1 overall and there wouldn't be any discussion.
  20. Playing it safe on relatively cheap investments at QB is working so well.
  21. HC: Steichen or Johnson. I lean toward Steichen because... QB/#9: Anthony Richardson. He has the most physical talent and upside in the draft. Pair him with a HC who has already turned a raw physical talent into an MVP caliber QB. Re-sign Darnold to good backup money as a bridge/mentor.
