I'm not sure why we don't have him returning kicks. We'll see how he develops this coming off-season but at some point you gotta shift to trying to get some value out of him even if it means making him a poor man's Cordarelle Patterson.

RAC is a big part of why we drafted Legette. I'd be trying to scheme up ways to get him the ball because he's not an NFL WR right now.

When you get beat 48-14 there's nothing but blame to go around. Very little went right.

And how bad our offense had it trying to be carried by Bryce. That one is absolutely a two way street.

I honestly think it's to the point that our wish lists have to start where everyone else's end. Tepper has made us one of the absolutely least desirable NFL workplaces.

Obviously. When he said our days of mediocrity were over I didn't think that he meant that we were going to be perennial bottom dwellers.

Ladd was my clear #1 for us. I was right about that. But I can't get cocky. Ja'Lynn Polk was my #2 and that dude has been COMPLETE trash. LOL

We need a lot of new faces all across this roster. Probably every fan of teams that live in the top 10 of the draft say the same after every year. We're just not used to being constant bottom feeders. Inconsistent? Sure. But we used to always find a way to field a real team at least once every two or three years. We've been complete trash ever since Tepper came to town. We can blame this or that coach or player or unit or GM but there's one common theme tying them altogether.

He doesn't trust his hands. He's just not a good receiver. I had no desire to draft a guy who was still considered a raw prospect at 23 and did nothing in college until his super senior year. Mid-round boom or bust pick? Okay. Trade up into the 1st? Typical Tepper's Panthers.

Always makes me chuckle when people post about how awful this place is while obviously coming here for some reason.

Surely today has to seal Evero's fate. Best of luck elsewhere but we need to move on.

I've never seen a draft prospects where all the "experts" were so willing to completely overlook obvious red flags. Usually draft prospects get picked apart.

All of Bryce's flaws were clearly evident in college. Plenty of us pointed it out leading up to the draft.

Girls flag football... wonder if we could win on that league?

It's why I have no idea how to evaluate defensive draft prospects for us. I have no idea what scheme we'll be running. Do we need 4-3 DEs or 3-4 OLBs? Do we need man corners or zone corners? Do we need knifing single gap DTs or space eating two gap NTs?

The reason is that NFL talent evaluation is a crap shoot. There are busts and steals in every draft. Always has been, always will be.

The bad part of having a lot of roster holes is that you suck. The good part come draft time is that there's no need to feel the itch to reach on any positions. Just draft what you judge as the best talent available every pick.

We need a lot. Kicker is kinda the icing on the cake for a roster and our cake is dog poo. Beautiful delicious icing wouldn't really matter.

I think Bryce needs a Purdy type situation. If he can be carried by his supporting cast he can probably be pretty good. If he's the one having to do the carrying not so much.

He was coming back through two DBs he had best deep to try to make a hero catch. He's just not very good. Watching you try to pin the majority of the blame on that play on the receiver failing to make the hero catch on a badly thrown ball instead of blaming the QB for not putting the ball out front for an easy catch and possible TD (that XL would've likely dropped anyway) is pretty comical.
