  1. If we want to run a two high shell, we probably either need to move Chinn to LB or trade him.
  2. Reich called his own plays with the Colts.
  3. Honestly, I'm very, very pleased with this coaching staff. Excited to see what they do at QB.
  4. No he didn't. I went to all but two Broncos home games that year because the company I worked for had a suite and I was the only CO based employee so I got the tickets by default unless some big wig was in town on vacation and wanted them. The Golden Calf of Bristol looked like trash running the base offense. He'd work his magic in the two minute drill. You just can't get a coach to build an offense where every play basically amounts to "scramble drill on three, break".
  5. Exactly. When an organization is willing to move on from a franchise caliber QB, red flags need to be flying. More often than not, in hindsight it was obvious why.
  6. This is basically Baltimore signaling that they think two 1sts is the absolute ceiling for what they could get for Lamar in a trade offer.
  7. Honestly, no. It would still mean a mega contract and two 1st round picks for a player that has been struggling with injuries.
  8. We're sitting at #9 in the draft. There's a really good chance the QB prospects we really want aren't gonna be there. Just reality.
  9. My first NFL jersey was a Browns Bernie Kosar jersey when I was probably a similar age. I just wanted an NFL jersey. The Panthers didn't even exist yet. Bernie Kosar's jersey was probably on the clearance rack at Belk's.
  10. If the Bears decide to take a QB at #1 and move on from Fields and we can get him for #9 overall and we like Fields more than the QBs we anticipate will be available at #9 then go for it. That's whole lot of "ifs" so it's highly unlikely to happen.
  11. Drake Maye petitions the NFL and somehow gains the ability to be allowed into the supplemental draft. Finally acknowledging fuging us over in SB50 the NFL grants us an extra 1st round pick in '24 that we use to select Drake Maye in the 2023 supplemental draft. I mean, you did say IDEAL. LOL!!!
  12. Winning record overall, but I'm pretty sure .500 after we acquired Jake. He owned us early on but let's be real, we sucked in those years. Everyone owned us.
  13. The Falcons had one year where they won double digit games with Vick. They made the playoffs in two of his six seasons. Y'all really having nightmares about THAT?
  14. If Lamar pulls off a deal like that with no agent every NFL agent gonna be like
  15. I honestly wouldn't mind one of our divisional rivals trading a boatload of assets and then giving a massive contract to a QB who has struggled with injuries recently.
  16. I honestly think that's most likely. The entire sports media thinks they should build around Fields. Most of their fanbase thinks they should build around Fields. If you move Fields and take another QB, you better be right because holy poo... if you draft a bust and Fields flourishes elsewhere you're gonna be the biggest jackass in sports.
  17. You know a guy is a freak when he has that severe of an injury and STILL goes in the 1st round.
  18. Sure they will. If you're willing to make an idiotically high offer. That's pretty much what they're signalling with that. Don't even call us if you're an NFC team and you're not gonna blow us away with your offer.
  19. I'm not opposed to trading up for a QB, I'm just not completely sold on it for Young or Stroud. If our staff is then go for it. It's their jobs on the line not mine.
  20. Who is "everyone else" though? Nick Mullens? CJ Beathard? Yeah, those dudes suck. Jimmy G is considerably better than those guys. And yeah, so far Trey Lance honestly looks like a bust. Jimmy G is one of those good backup/marginal starter type guys who can look serviceable in a good system with good surrounding talent. Put him in the Raiders and watch what happens though. Hell, with Josh McDaniels there we might actually see that. I hope we do because it'll be hilarious.
  21. Okay, do the deal. Then you're going to be in here screaming about how we have failed to build a team around Lamar. Well, no poo. We don't have any assets left to build with.
  22. Lamar is a helluva talent but given his injury history, the contract he's going to demand, and the trade value a team is going to have to give up to acquire him I guess I wouldn't mind seeing him playing for a division rival. I think the team that makes this move is likely going to be hamstrung. No team in this division is a Niners or Rams type situation with a stacked up roster just needing a QB.
  23. The roughest injury I ever saw on live television was Willis McGahee's knee in college. I was in college and a bunch of us were watching that game and I saw it and just started screaming. Like everybody y'all gotta watch this poo and now because they're only gonna show this replay once when they realize how ugly this is. I still can't believe he made a successful recovery from that. I guess Marcus Lattimore's injury at South Carolina looked similarly and that one ended him.
