This is humiliating. We really should've just said thanks but no thanks to the bowl invite this year
-
UConn might take care of that by themselves. LOL
-
Yep, UNC is literally down to running a leather helmet single wing offense now. This is gonna get ugly.
-
I'm curious to find out. If Bryce still looks promising without having Chuba to lean on then there's legit cause for optimism at QB moving forward.
-
It honestly might happen. No joke. We're basically out of QBs. I think we only have two healthy QBs on the roster and they're both true freshman walk ons. Next man up was a zero star recruit offers from App State, Catawba and Johns Hopkins. LOL!
-
Well, that's one way to score. Just bypass the non-existent offense minus Hampton and just house call the kickoff.
-
Oh wee mayne. We're gonna get fuging blasted by UConn. LOLOLOL
-
Criswell is down. I honestly have no idea who is still even in the roster and available at QB. Criswell was already the 3rd stringer. We're definitely seeing early on just how good Omarion Hampton was. Without him we have zero running game and zero offense period.
-
Holding them to three after getting gashed for 50 on the first snap has to be considered a win.
-
LOL! First play of the game and the UNC D gets gashed for 50.
-
That's alright. He got paid and nothing left to prove. It's a good thing to get a look at Bryce without the offense being carried by one of the league's leading rushers.
-
I honestly wasn't even planning to watch the UNC bowl game but given that it's cold and rainy and what else is there to do? I guess I'll throw it in the background while I get stuff done in the garage.

This is what so many folks don't understand. Yeah, I do think that the SEC is the best football conference. No, they're not D1 vs. everyone else's D1-AA like the fanboys try to act like they are either though. It's not like they're in a league of their own that exists in some space between the rest of the NCAA and the NFL with the fanboys acting like they're much closer to the NFL than the rest of the NCAA is to the SEC. That's just pure delusion.

Let's hear all the names of long-term starting OGs who were the 13th+ drafted in their class. I mean, if it happens all the time you should be able to rattle off a dozen right off the top of your head.
-
The NFC definitely seems a lot more open. I'll be pretty surprised if it's anyone other than KC or Buffalo out of the AFC.

Lowkey tanking. You choose to go for it on 4th and 10 when you've struggled to pass protects all night long instead of kick a 57 yarder to tie? And you don't keep in extra protection when they've been blitzing like crazy? If you're trying to win you have to either run your best screen play there or keep in extra blockers to account for the blitz. I don't think they were trying to win

Oh wow. DJ Moore with a baller ass catch on 4th down.
-
LOL @ the Bears Fuging played themselves. Oh lord, and now they were going to punt but second guess it and burn a timeout. Clown show stuff.
-
This game is setting offensive football back to the leather helmet era.
-
Great catch by Metcalf on an abysmal throw.
-
The Seahawks' offense is trash but their DL is nasty.
-
For real though, the Bears just seem snake bit as fug at QB. I mean, Jay Cutler is probably their franchise GOAT.
-
A lot of them are on Caleb though. This Bears OL isn't good and when you pair that with a QB who loves to hold the ball and try to scramble around to buy time well, this is what you get.
-
All the concerns I had about Caleb Williams' playing style are showing up. Holds the ball too long, too quick to bail on the pocket and try to create a scramble drill, too focused on the hero play. I wasn't sold on him as an NFL prospect because you had to view him as a complete rebuild project. You're drafting the raw talent and now you have to re-teach him how to play QB as an NFL QB because this isn't college anymore. Everyone wanted to compare him to Mahomes but the difference is that Mahomes can make all the easy routine plays look easy and routine and only breaks out the highlight reel stuff when necessary. Caleb wants to skip all the easy and routine stuff and just go straight to highlight reel stuff every snap and that can't work in the NFL.

It's a good way to end up on the wrong side of one.
