  1. This damn fool has thought he was just the right afterthought stop gap QB away from competing from the get go despite all the bullshit about a "process" and "five year" plan hence why we keep drastically overspending on those types of players.
  2. Letting Reddick walk is the right move IMO. Unless you're transitioning to a legit 3-4 D, he and Burns are redundant and are too much of a liability against the run when on the field together in the base D and not as an obvious passing situation NASCAR type package.
  3. He's 31. We aren't in a position to contend. Resigning him would be dumb.
  4. The traits and rawness are very similar. The same school is coincidental.
  5. Given how the vet QB market has rapidly fallen apart, the Eagles might get more than most would expect out of Minshew. Could they flip him for say a 3rd? If the Browns are sold on Mayfield now would be the time to move him. Given the vet market and what most consider to be a down QB class in the draft, seems like a guarantee they'd get at least a 1st. I wonder how GM is feeling about Jordan Love? Given what the QB market looks like, if I'm holding an asset I'm not sold on, I'm putting a "For Sale" sign up and at least listening to offers
  6. If Lance is absolutely not ready after a year of sitting and learning he might just not be cut out for the NFL. I mean, if it's true that knowledgeable folks aren't even giving him a chance of being ready for next season that's about as gigantic as red flags get.
  7. I think Ekwonu is the safest. With his run blocking abilities, if he doesn't work at OT he should make for a road grading OG. That's not what you want out of a high first round pick but it's a helluva lot better than an outright bust. Neal scares me. With his measurables he should be the slam dunk #1 OT. That he's not causes me a lot of concern. It's be like a Julius Peppers type DE not being the slam dunk #1 DE prospect available. If he's not, that's a major red flag. He double checks every physical box.
  8. If Watson is the only even remotely elite QB on the market, yeah his market is going to go up for sure. If he can get his legal issues resolved Houston can likely get their rumored asking price from someone.
  9. Every QB sneak that comes up short... Pickett's charge failed once again.
  10. Sorry to disappoint you, but I stopped expecting the Panthers to do anything even remotely intelligent quite some time ago. It would be impossible to disappoint me. I fully expect this organization to make the dumbest moves possible.
  11. Brilliant. This must be the level of fans that Tepper and Rhule are shooting for.
  12. Pickett isn't as talented as Harrington or Gabbert were either
  13. That's "the process". This is what David Tepper and Marty Hurney got sold on - this man's vision. Hence why everyone is so down on the organization. By the looks of it, we have an absolute moron steering this ship and I'm not talking about Matt Rhule though he certainly qualifies as well.
  14. Wow, that sucks. Shitty on Texas not to have that in law and shitty on the company not to pay it out regardless of the law. Don't worry though, the executives will surely have fat bonuses this quarter.
  15. It'd be a far less exhaustive effort to name the positive moves that Tepper has made for the Panthers' organization.
  16. Stingley opting out of football related activities is to be expected. The guy has played in a total of 10 games since 2019. Talented kid, but taking him in the top 10 is one helluva risk.
  17. This is the type of thing that gets Ian Thomas caliber player cut by competent organizations. It gets you a $16.5M contract extension here. What a fuging joke we have become.
  18. A center at #6 overall with your only top 100 pick... oh wee fuging mayne.
  19. What's the legality on that PTO non-payout? I don't know in NC, but in CO they'd owe you 40 hours of pay.
  20. Look at the best young QBs in the NFL. Most don't fit that 6'4" model. Hell, most great QBs don't period. Ideally, sure you'd love for your QB to be 6'4"+. But a ton of great QBs were shorter than that and I'll take elite skills and instincts over an elite measuring tape all day everyday. Elite skills and instincts will make for a great QB whether he's 6' or 6'5"
