The announcers can't grasp that Indiana is just trying to keep the final score as respectable as possible. They didn't want to get absolutely wood shedded on national primetime television. They're already onto the future.
-
Indiana is a top 40ish type team that is just really well coached and played a really soft schedule. The two times they faced top 10 teams they flat out didn't compete.
-
Beck's backup looked better than Beck.
-
Indiana not going for that 4th down is pretty much waing the white flag and admitting they're just trying not to get embarrassingly blown out.
-
Rourke is garbage. There's no sugar coating it
-
Honestly IU has been all over it they just don't have the athletes to finish the plays. Guys have been in position to make plays all night and they just can't make the tackles.
-
Ouch. And IU keeps ND from blowing it calling a timeout before they fail on a fake FG.
-
Wow. That's just fuging moronic.
-
Riley Leonard has low key been dog poo throwing the ball tonight. His receivers have been making some circus catches.
-
MCL sprain. poo sucks. I've gone both of mine. Hurts like holy hell for a few days but gets better really quickly after that.
-
There's just going to be no chance for IU to compete unless ND starts turning the ball over.
-
ND's sack leader is down.
-
IU really needed that stop. ND burns a trick play return in a game they're dominating and gets nothing out of it. LOL
-
Jesus. Indiana couldn't afford to give up a huge return. Really don't know why ND wanted to burn a trick play return in this one.
-
I think he needed a solid game tonight. You can overlook one stinker against top competition but when you look like trash on both of them... uh oh. NFL scouts and GMs are going to really look at the OSU and ND games and just see a guy who isn't cut out for the NFL. He's probably a priority UDFA.
-
Rourke is in real time going from a guy who with a good game tonight and strong interviews might have been able to make himself a mid-round pick to a guy trying to just get drafted.
-
I like how you just ignore that the result of them being aggressive on their first redzone trip was their shaky QB throwing a bad INT. If their sixth year QB wasn't playing like a shook freshman backup unexpectedly forced into action they might be able to compete.
-
Yeah, because going for it on 4th and 4 would totally change the fact that ND is just head and shoulders better. Probably the only difference would be that IU would have a goose egg on the scoreboard.
-
I think so. I think the COVID extra years are used up with the current super seniors.
-
Weird that IU played that like they were expecting a fake.
-
Indiana defenders out there looking like me after a few beers. Just comical efforts to try (and fail) to tackle. Feels like most of ND's yards are after contact. IU just can't finish tackles.
-
Brutal. You get good pressure and a hit on the QB and they still convert. I'm not seeing anything on that replay to overturn it.
-
They're just trying to get into the locker room with the score manageable. They need something positive. They had a decent drive finally. Go for it and come up empty and it's like a kick in the balls. Your team is already reeling. You got a just get something positive. Now if you can get this stop here you have a chance to reply turn the momentum tide going into half time.
-
Announcers, chill. We can stop with the whole student-athlete charade now.
-
I honestly think you have to kick. Your OL is struggling to pass protect and your QB is super shaky. You just tried the sneaky run. If I'm ND I'm gonna play double robbers over the middle of the go for this because this QB hasn't completed a pass beyond the LOS outside of the hashes all night.
