  1. Honestly, at this point with just a few games to show what he’s made of, he might be my favorite Panthers coach in history. At least he takes chances and doesn’t tuck his tail in between his legs with a minute to go before the half. The fake punt didn’t work, but I liked the call at that point in the game. He’s still learning, but I like his mindset. Haven’t ever been able to say that before.
  2. lol well Hekker trying to prove my last statement wrong, but he was still closer than Bryce often is…
  3. Most inaccurate QB I’ve ever seen. I think Hekker would be more accurate.
  4. That was a good play and throw by Bryce on 1st down, gotta admit
  5. Bad throw, good job by XL. CB shoulda knocked that down
  6. Canales getting tricky with the playcalling so far today
  7. I completely agree. Bryce causes the OL to look much worse than they actually are. He has no pocket presence, no understanding of defenses, and gets tackled by a stiff breeze.
  8. If they’re trying to trade Bryce they would definitely not try to show him off. The mystery is the only value left. The more tape you put out there, especially recent tape, the harder it will be to trick someone into thinking he can be an NFL player.
  9. Yea that’s what I assumed. He tried to brace himself for the impact and the thumb got bent the wrong way or something.
  10. Oh, so just unfounded speculation? I thought there was something I hadn’t heard about.
  11. Where is this coming from that Brown may never recover? Woods is trash, the keepers on defense are Horn and Mike Jackson. Some of the first and second year guys can’t be thrown out with the bath water either. And Jewell looked solid until he got injured. But we definitely need a couple pass rushers, a LB or two and two Safeties.
  12. I’m in like four different arguments on Facebook about that lol. These smooth brains don’t realize that Bryce robs every other offensive player of development and meaningful reps. Even if the offense is still doing poorly with Andy, at least they’re getting catchable balls thrown their way and defenses have to respect the possibility of a pass more than five yards so the run game has a little more room.
  13. Replay made it pretty apparent his knee was down before the ball came out. Dumb challenge by Quinn
  14. Ian Thomas is such a waste. And Charles Davis is insufferable
  15. I agree with you except one point: Bryce’s limitations are all of the above. Physical, mental and even emotional.
  16. Again, it’s not about making or breaking anyone’s career. I don’t get what is so hard to understand. Thielen was showing signs of irritation in the first two games of the year. It wasn’t about losing. It wasn’t about stats. It was all the times either he was open and ignored or the ball was thrown at his feet/over his head. Any competitor wants to be given a chance to compete, whether that’s game to game or play to play, they want balls they can catch. Not for stats, for personal satisfaction. That has a huge impact on morale. and there is no “if”. I’ve long moved on from Bryce speculation, as most have. No one needs to see seven more games to confirm what is already painfully obvious.
  17. No, I’m not saying stats, I’m saying sense of accomplishment. A WR goes out and runs all his route and doesn’t get a catchable ball thrown his way he’s going to get annoyed. He goes out and is given a chance to do something, he’ll feel more accomplished. His morale will be higher. Even in defeat. and Bryce is already a failure. There is no point in making the rest of the team suffer even more to beat a dead horse.
  18. I’m talking about the locker room, you can tell when Bryce was in there the team was frustrated with not being given a chance to contribute or compete. With Andy there, the offensive skill players are being given opportunities. Even if they hate that they’re losing, at least they’re able to contribute and feel useful.
  19. Winning or losing isn’t the only thing that impacts the locker room. Being competitive in losses matters, skill positions being given a chance to contribute matters. They won’t have a chance if Young is in there.
  20. A fair number of people were rooting for his failure from the moment he bought the team because he’s not a good ol boy.
