Well that’s deflating. Really wanted Thieneman. Woulda been happy with Lemon. edit: I mean, a good Tackle is always nice, but man Thieneman was there and seemed like a real difference maker.- 435 replies

2026 Win predictions from DraftKings
JawnyBlaze replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m not mad about 7.5, but TB at 8.5 and the other two teams tied with us is ludicrous. We should be at least a game higher than the rest of those scrubs. We won the division, we got better, TB and Atl got worse, NO is NO. -

Official Week 18: Panthers @ Buccaneers Gameday Thread

Difference is Cam had no chance to get the ball before a defender so he decided to play the bounce. Bryce had every opportunity to get it before the defender. -

No he didn’t. Looked like he might have expected it to bounce more or something but he didn’t get bumped til after the defender and jumped on it. He had every opportunity to get it before a Buc was close -

Can’t no one tell me games are called evenly and not intentionally affected by bad calls. They want people interested in the Atlanta NO game tomorrow -

Wow that was bullshit. If the play is blown dead, regardless of backwards pass or not the play is blow dead and it goes back to the original los -

I don’t think he’s trying to showboat or just make one hand catches, I think in some scenarios he sees it as take a shot with one hand or just watch it hit the ground, so he at least makes an attempt. The one I remember yesterday was way out ahead of him so he tried to bring it in with the forward hand. If he had squared up his shoulders to use both hands his arms woulda been short of the ball.

No way a half year starter deserves oroty. With that said, he’s been impressive. He’s not world beating, but he’s already better than Bryce. I’d trade Bryce and a second for him in a heartbeat.
-
Man if we could just go back a few years and take the Rams’ offer, keep CMC, keep Baker (or Darnold, whichever), keep Moore, and stock up on all those Rams’ draft picks and our draft picks we save not drafting Bryce. Hire Canales to work with Baker again (or Darnold). Imagine where we’d be. Man.

Hard to choose among Gamble/Lucas, Norman/Tillman and Horn/Jackson. First out would probably be Gamble/Lucas just because Lucas is the worst of the six mentioned. I’d probably give it to Norman/Tillman because Norman was the best we’ve had (even if it was brief because Gettleman was a complete moron)

Nah, Horn is elite (yes even though he brushed a WRs facemask. Legit penalty, but it wasn’t egregious and he let go immediately, and it’s the sort of thing that happens all the time.) He’s a shutdown corner who rarely allows QB to do much in whatever area he’s defending. Has a bad play here and there, but they all do. And he seems to have shaken the injury bug. Burns is meh. Sure he can get sacks sometimes but not much else. He’s not an elite pass rusher like Horn is an elite corner.

Bryce is elite at [PFF designated "big time"] throws
JawnyBlaze replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
One of many examples of why PFF is trash. The only reason Bryce might seem good at big time throws is he pretty much throws them when the WR has his man beat clean and the throw is basically a sure thing. He only attempts at most one or two big throws a game 90% of the time. -
Yea, eventually you’ll get a notification when you try that says “you cannot react to anymore posts today” or something like that. Guess the bakery runs out of pie.

Fify. Dave doesn’t decide who to throw it to while the play is happening except the rare screen or play that is obviously designed to go that way from the start, and those were successful. The ones where Bryce “went through his reads” and settled on the check down were the failures.
