McShay is talking out of his ass.

The cost would be too much to jump Atl and TB so just stay put. The LB class is deep this year so I'm not worried so much in that regard. We will just have to see how it shakes out. We will have a shot at a good player in my view but it all depends on what position starts a run on players. It will not be qb this year. My fear it will be defensive players this year after what Seattle was able to accomplish with their last 2 drafts. That will limit our options in the 1st round if it were to play out that way. Let all pray for a wr run before our pick.

I would prefer them to already be a good qb and then teach them the rest. If you have to teach him how to be a qb when he gets here then he shouldn't be here.

I'm not sure I would say that I trust them more as much as I think they are the most competent duo we've ever had. Now having said that, they still have to earn my trust in being able to build a consistent winner.

That would depend on how many qb's have gone before him and who was taken. If it goes like I think there will be a few decent options that my hang around on the practice squad that go undrafted.

If they are thinking of going all in to win it all next year then yes, something really stupid is incoming.

If they are going to trade up let it be in the 2nd round for Hill. But I don't like that idea either. What I would selfishly like to see happen is they take the Oregon safety in the 1st over the 3rd or 4th best ILB or OLB. Then see how round 2 shakes out. Take the linebacker with the 70's mustache in the 3rd and go from there. Production is the word you are looking for.

Production is more important than measurements. The combine is for interviews and get official measurements. Thats all it's good for for the teams. But fans fall in love with measurements.

Draft position does not make one generational. If that were the case then every player taken first or second overall would be generational. That makes absolutely no sense.

Folks fall in love with Combine warriors. There's not a generational player in this draft.

He's not generational. He's just athletic. He was good in college but so we're others.

Who says Love will be bpa at 19? You cannot go by mock drafts or someone else's rankings. Even if he was bpa there's a reason he would drop and that's the fact he's a RB. No, we are not going to take a RB in round 1. Ask Marty Hurney how many wins CMC added to this team.

I don't think we take a ILB until the 2nd round. Our 1st round pick is shaping up to be an OLB, DT or S from the looks of it.

It was never a realistic dream to begin with. The good thing is this draft is deep at LB so it's not the end of the world.
