Its no secret that everyone likes Bryce. But that alone does not guarantee a roster spot let alone a starting role. Business is business.

Tepper does not dictate who the teams qb will be, he never did. Fitterer sold him on Young in 2022. Everyone in the building went along with it as Fitterer was supposed to know what he was doing. He's no longer he because he didn't. Dan is getting the same leeway until he proves he doesn't. There's no conspiracy to keep Young the qb here. The only thing that's going on is the are making sure they do not kick Young to the curb too soon like they did with Darnold and Mayfield.

Big Cat didn't want to pay Peppers what he wanted. That was the end his time here after the first tag. He hated this organization when he got tagged again.

The decision will come down to Canales and Morgan. Tepper doesn't care anymore.

Because he will not get that anywhere else. If he refuses it then trade him or cut him. Pretty simple really.

My number one takeaway from this interview is that Dan is in no hurry to extend Bryce.

AKA_bluesman. I was more of a "slurker" back then. I didn't post often so I mostly enjoyed reading everyone else's posts. There were some great posters.

That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.

I do not fully remember it myself but it made a lasting impression on all of us. I wish there was a way to dig it up on here just so the newbs could get a glimpse of how this place used to be.

The forehead kiss tale will go down in huddle history as one of, if not the funniest stories I've ever seen someone tell on this board.

Maybe a little bit. Whoever wins the backup job is a slight upgrade from Dalton. King will need to prove he's worth a roster spot going forward but I doubt he's a threat to anyone on the roster this season.

They will not be able to stash him on the practice squad.
