    I think they will too. Renfrow will use this opportunity to get in shape and get paid for it. After he's cut he will probably get picked up by someone after preseason.

    Stats and grades are all good but the biggest factor is why they team that drafted him does not want to pick up his option. That to me says more than anything. I'm watching every pro snap before I decide to give up a pick AND a big contract to.

    It's probably something as simple as all of NC and SC are considered local as it's the CAROLINA Panthers and doesn't reflect a particular state or city.

    It was mentioned somewhere when the news of them offering to trade him. Probably nothing but just that, a rumor.

    Obviously the goal is to win the division of course but 2nd place given the current makeup of the team would be a decent consolation prize IMO.
