It remains to be seen. I’ve witnessed enough to at least be optimistic but we have to do something about the defense in the offseason. If that gets fixed I think we have a shot to at least contend in the division next year barring key injuries.

It’s easy for a backup to look good for a game or two when there’s no film on them running that particular offense. Or sometimes a good game just happens. I‘m sure we all remember the beginning of Kyle Allen and Matt Moore. Everyone in the NFL is capable for the most part, even backup QBs. The difference is there’s no way they can sustain it over the course of a season, which is why they’re backups. There was growth in those games we played and almost won.

The problem is that he liked to call screens to fuging Ian Thomas. And Thielen. Two guys who aren’t exactly known as shifty runners after the catch.

This was treated like a preseason game where the front office didn’t care if we won or lost. The sooner you all realize that the better off you will be.

I think this is the closest thing to tanking without saying we are tanking. I’m sure these defensive players are trying but really none of them belong on the field with the exception of maybe 2 or 3.

Tampa is desperate for a win to save their hopes at a playoff birth. It looks like we have a ton of injuries and we never have any answers for Evans and could be without Horn and several others. We also obviously can’t stop the run and Irving killed us in the lasr game. It’s not a crazy line. I think Tampa wins by 7.

So Mike Evans gets to destroy us yet again. I think I’ll probably find something else to watch. I’ve seen that movie too many times before.

But the Chiefs are vastly different than the Bills in the realm of franchise QBs. All im saying is there are different ways to win a game. Mahomes makes plays when he has to and does it very consistently which is why they are a championship team, but he’ll never be considered a gunslinger with a huge arm like Josh Allen or Cam. I’m not comparing Bryce to Mahomes but you can win consistently with a QB that doesn’t have elite arm talent provided you have a coach who can create a good gameplan, enough guys to make plays in clutch moments, and a QB who almost always makes the right decisions under pressure.

Yes we are near the bottom of the league in average yards per completion with 9.8. The Broncos are at 9.9. Guess who is also at 9.9? The Chiefs.
