  1. Maybe he is why they are not as concerned about LT as we seem to be. AND He could be saving a roster spot by pulling double duty--swiss army rambo knife.
  2. Some went of their meds when they turned 18, the same day they got laptops for their birthdays. This had to happen.
  3. I would drop the pass and ask for a refund.
  4. Your point was that it takes a conviction to dissuade you from wanting him--my point is that the image is the important thing--not the conviction. A conviction only tells you what 12 people (or so) thought and how good his attorney was vs. Prosecutors. Money tends to win in the courtrooms, but you want to use convictions as the only determination of his character---but turn the tables, and it is a "terrible analog." The only thing that matters is what hiring him does to the bottom line and the image you are trying to market---OJ Simpson is not doing commercials today and he was innocent--why not? Just exposing hypocrisy.
  5. My guess? 3, if you do not count first cousins.
  6. This is a business. Tell me, OJ Simpson was found to be innocent in a court of law. Would you hire him to be your company's spokesperson?
  7. You invest in the future with a contract. Do you give $100m to a man who might be convicted of a crime of this nature when the entire nation knows that you knew about it and decided winning was more important than human decency? We need to value women, not exploit them. Second point--the reason the NFL is so popular is their brands. The logo and what it represents. If you think Tepper should risk tarnishing the brand to try to be more competitive, you would be wrong.
  8. Now there is a banner every player covets.
  9. I am liking this Darnold kid for now.
  10. I will go to Vegas and bet that we don't win 7.5 games.
  11. He has a cannon, wheels, and seems to be a great comparison to Vick. He will be a first rounder--maybe the third QB taken.
  12. I mean, you have to get poo for that. Still, I feel the need to send you a Hallmark card or something.
  13. I have seen many WR highlights where #27 is 2 or 3 steps behind.
  14. He tried to trade up to #33 to get Clausen in the same draft he traded up to get Armanti Edwards. Then KC and Minnesota--2 teams that had no QBs, passed on Clausen in round 2 and Hurney "could not believe" that JC fell to us. The man was a visionary.
  15. How do subjects and verbs agree? Who knows?
  16. what is funny about this to me-I do not care who says what. I understand that some mothers were into crystal meth when some Huddlers were conceived through birth--if they say something stupid, they are merely a product of their environment and going through withdrawals they have no control over. Seriously, I dont really care who says what--If you have had 3 alts just to post on a football board for a few weeks before getting re-banned, I can only imagine what your actual social skills are and how they have served you in life.
  17. make him practice with mittens on.
  18. Marshall, Horn, Tremble will play a lot--Tremble reminds me of the offensive Chinn. Shi Smith, Christensen, and Nixon could surprise us and one could step up. Do long snappers count?
  19. Yes--at Iowa, he started and was inconsistent at times. Here, he will be situational and consistency is not as important. Give us that gap shooting ability when we need it.
  20. This really is not hard. He hit a defenseless WR in practice when they were not in full contact mode. Absorb that bit of information. Was it a bad football play? It would have drawn a flag in a game--but this was practice and he was defenseless. It was not malicious, it was stupid. I get that he was trying to make the team and it was hot and your instincts take over. Still, it was stupid.
  21. Sam Darnold said that they were not in full contact mode then. He called it "thud" or something like that. In practice, you do not hit a defenseless WR--clean hit or not. Kirkwood was not advancing the ball--he was falling. No need to hit him at all.
  22. Darnold was the "bird in the hand"
