  1. I am pumped about this pick--smart guy. Ransom played multiple roles for the Buckeyes, lining up as a free safety in Cover 2 or Cover 4, a deep safety in Cover 1 or Cover 3, a box safety, and a nickel defender. His versatility is due to his sky-high football intelligence and understanding of the coverage scheme from multiple positions
  2. S Lathan Ramsom OSU is still there--fwiw and Farmer (DT Florida St.) I think it would be hard to NOT pick a DT here
  3. I hate seeing Jack Sawyer in the fourth knowing we wont take another edge. I am guessing this box will contain our next pick:
  4. why draft a RB? Put a bowl of food on your porch and you can catch a feral cat, possum, raccoon, and day 3 RB.
  5. Not a fan of this pick--another RB for IR.
  6. When they see the Panthers logo they all know to break
  7. Let me be the first to say, regardless of who this pick is, Thank you Mingo and Jerry Jones!!!
  8. Bills draft Deone Walker--Morgan might feel as if the big NTs are down to 1. Cam Jackson NT Really good for depth DTs right here 2 guys named Ty, Farmer, Pegues-- Mondon (LB UGA) or Bowman (S OK) final answer.
  9. I think we will draft Billy Bowman if he is there--Farmer (DT) is possible
  10. If nothing else, he would sell jerseys and give the fans a chant to get the stadium rocking. I see him having a cult following.
  11. It was not the time, that is for sure, but we both know that he meant he was going to be elite.
  12. While it seems that nearly every Gamecock was in for a visit, two names visited and I think there could be something there: OT: Devonte Gordon Wake Forest. Small-school transfer who is a very agile and effective pass blocker and blocker in space. Not great on second level vs. the run. 6’6” 310 lbs. S: Andreas Keaton. Temple. Former Catamount. "Andreas Keaton is a versatile, hard-hitting safety with elite tackling ability and the range to excel at multiple positions in the secondary." @nflscouting
  13. I think Clowney would only be a 20-25 snap guy if here--not sure he is even worth the $7m we could save by cutting him. Wonnum is 27 and is probably entering his prime and he is good on the strong side. Pat Jones II is a 26-year old, 265 lb run stuffer, even though he had a career-high 7 sacks in 2024. Wonnum is 6'5" 258 and he has had 2 8-sack seasons and was on an 8-sack pace last year (4 sacks in 8 games). Scourton should start across from Wonnum, with Jones and Princely rotating in situationally. I just don't see how Clowney, at 32, does much more than blocks the developmental opportunities of the younger players if he stays.
  14. Princely: "I am going to break yall's pockets in about 3-4 years." Discuss.
  15. I think we really got better on defense in free agency. Did we get better in the draft? Long term, probably. Short term? Maybe not much. Clowney and Wonnum are probably going to be able to hold off rookies at positions that tend to take time. So we really have not improved the defense in the draft that much. I would cut Clowney and start Jones and Wonnum--saving $7m in cap room. I think Princely will be a pass-rushing specialist for his rookie season, and I see Nic Scourtan as a key rotational player who will start at some point.
  16. That had a LOT to do with TMac in round 1...
  17. Gonna be interesting how he handles the Clowney and possibly Wonnum contracts--cutting them would be $14m in cap room--not sure I would do it, but we signed Jones and you want your rookies to play to get experience....
  18. Did not trade bryce when he got benched
  19. BOLD ARE MY PRIORITIES I WOULD ADD: SMAEL MONDON LB UGA (4) RILEY MILLS DE NOTRE DAME (4) CODY SIMON LB OHIO ST DANNY STUTSMAN LB OKL BARRETT CARTER LB CLEMSON
