Then we need to at least see that. Because if Dalton comes in and the same crap happens then fine. But the overwhelming perception is Bryce makes an already struggling team worse and the team is too stubborn to admit it because they mortgaged the farm to get him. And to note, the most productive day we had on offense all season last year was when Andy started in Seattle.

Start Bryce: Pros-Top 3 pick Cons-No guarantee next QB will work out; No confidence front office gets pick right; destroy morale of current players; discourage players from wanting to resign; FA will not want to come to a team with another 2 win season unless you use a ton of cap room; don’t get to see what other guys can do/develop to with horrible QB play. Start Dalton Pros- Increase morale, see what young guys can do with average-ish QB play. Canales can demonstrate his system works to prevent another coaching/GM turnover; more FA likely to be open to signing; more likely to resign guys we want to come back. Cons- Likely 10-15 pick; Dalton probably only has another 1-3 seasons in the tank.

You can do the same thing with Dalton that we did with Darnold when Wilks was here. Use this "supposedly" improved OL and one of our 15 running backs and run the damn ball 25-30 times a game. Dalton can make the throws he needs to like Sam did (and probably better than Sam did). Besides, Canales is supposed to be a Play Action guru.

1. You have to start Dalton at some point, hopefully soon. You run the risk of destroying the morale in the locker room. 2. Benching Bryce and at least trying to put something together with Dalton this season will probably save Canales and Morgan's job and prevent yet another FO turnover. 3. You will get to see what you have in your other players by giving them a functional QB and allow them to develop. 4. No Free Agent is going to come anywhere near here after another 2-15 season, and good luck resigning anybody. 5. You're going to lose what little is left of the fan base if you don't put somebody in who can at least make basic throws. Dalton would have at least sustained some drives to give the defense a break. Hell, I think Plummer would have looked better than Bryce since he doesn't have to crow hop to make the ball go 15 yards.

Yeah but I wonder how much of it is being exhausted because the offense can’t sustain drives. Definitely looks worse than last year though -

Yeah and nobody else that wants to be here. And have no idea what your young guys can do because Bryce is 3 and out each drive. -

Yeah but another 2-15 season and good luck getting any FA to sign here. You’ll have nothing but rookies that are disappointed they were drafted by us. Besides, leaving Bryce in limits the offense and the development of people like Legette, Sanders, Mingo because the offense is limited. Change the QB and give the guys something to play for. -

Cam isn’t going to be hitting on much. Put in Dalton and run the ball heavy like we did with Darnold when Wilks was here. -

Canales is going to have to bench Bryce in the next few games to save his job in January. -

Panthers name captains for the 2024 season
ProcessBlue2 replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
So according to the comments from Canales the other day there is 1 Team Captain, 1 O Captain, 1 D Captain, and a rotating captain. So my guess is: Shaq- Team Captain Brown- D Captain Bryce- O Captain Franklin- Rotating -
I still think 6 wins is reasonable. Our schedule looks easy but I figure the first half of the year will be the team building chemistry (which is most of our easier games) and the second half we will be playing better football (but harder games).

If Horn goes down again, you can add CB to the list as well.
-
Rhattigan mainly, he was nearly 3 million.
-
They will probably restructure a couple. It looks like everyone that can save us immediate money either starts or is a key rotational guy.

Lol yeah he tried. The final word there is the keyword though

Sure will be more refreshing than Reich's Screen, Slant, Screen.

My in-laws are from Southeastern Louisiana, they all believe they are going to lose Sunday. They think they Saints are going to tank this year to reset everything fully from the Sean Payton era and get rid of Dennis Allen. My Brother-in-law who tried to fight me in my living room back during the Kyle Allen game in 2018 thinks it'll be a field goal fest.

Not going to lie, when I read the title I wasn't thinking about the network. I thought somebody still had some bottled up feelings about the 2010 season.
