Pretty excited we will likely get Moton and Mays back next week. Shoutout to Jake Curhan, dude absolutely took a guys head off on a trap play late in the game. Chandler Zavala is truly Mr. Glass. Dude came back for 4 plays after missing all these games and he’s out again. I haven’t forgotten when he left the field 2023 on a stretcher/ambulance in Detroit over a stinger and was back at practice a few days later.

He’s missed like 3 in the last 2 weeks. He missed one at the start of the game as well. I think it’s why he plays CB and not WR. At least that’s what John Madden would say. He was probably gone if he caught it. Score would have been 20-6 and good chance it never comes down to a single possession.

Proves my point that Hooker is horrible and is literally just here to run scout team. The Panthers would rather have had 37 year old Andy Dalton with an injured throwing thumb out there than Hooker. Interesting note on the Dalton injury. DC wouldn’t commit to whether Bryce or Andy would be ready to go this week. One of the reporters asked if that meant Hendon Hooker would be the guy if they couldn’t go and he said that was the conversations they (coaching staff ) are having now. Would it be worth our time to just be conservative and just let some of these borderline injured guys (Mayes, Moton, Young, Zavala, Wallace) rest this week and get ready for these back to back divisional games and MNF game?

Canales seemed pissed off in his press conference today. He referenced the leadership council multiple times. I feel like there was some type candid feedback and exchange from both sides and they pushed Canales to make changes he didn’t want to make or the FO didn’t want him to make.

What’s the chances this puts Dalton on “IR” and the panthers go get another back up before the deadline. They still haven’t put Christensen on IR for his Achilles and the Giants have been working out QBs despite having Dart, Winston, and Wilson on the roster.
