Really has to be Gross and Cam I mean our defense needs help and doing a Peppers/Luke could make them a Ravens/TB side of the ball that could win it all with Chinn being the 3rd level guy we literally have never had while having someone like Peppers/Luke in front. But the best/safe bet for today's NFL is def Gross/Cam since that's obv MVP Cam and not injured shoulder Cam.

I mean its better to have a really good punter than a really shitty one lol so yea nothing wrong with that. If we can never have gunners worth a fart may as well have a punter punt it to the roof so anyone can get down there. (and yes I do know our STs have greatly improved since the auto derp days and penalty on literally ever STs snap)

That post had modesty on purpose but it is true that the 7-16 range for QBs is seemingly different than in years past where it was much easier to just list off the top of your head QBs in a row in terms of how they stack up and be within their actual vicinity. I agree that now such a thing doesn't exist, especially since some of the ones you may put up in there have only had last year as a great year.

3 isn't really a trend but that number is falling not rising. If'n it was going the other way we might actually expect it to be 16th instead of 20th.

I mean if you can't honestly see the basics its on you. THe OL held Cam back forever and is clearly going to hold Darnold back as well. TB had the same OL but you can/could clearly see its him that would still be the main issue not being able to get our great playmakers the ball. Sam with say NEs OL that Brady always had could get anyone of our playmakers the ball anywhere on the field. Darnold isn't a top 10 Quarterback, but with a real OL he would honestly be somewhere around 12-14 which with our WRs and OC could easily score enough points to win games and make the playoffs.

Well I mean we usually have terrible signings and also terrible contracts and also terrible trades. Baby steps.

Yea I mean clearly Minshew can play. Trubisky who knows, could also be the HC at issue there but can be hard to tell like with Darnold. They both could turn out to actually be good. I think what will continue to be at play though is more being put on coaches to actually do something with their talent. I don't think we'll be seeing too many Jeff Fishers as clearly a HC/OC coulda done something with Vince Young. Still happens but those teams have long been outcompeted by coaches with even basic intellect.
