  1. 'Yotes have hit about 4 or 5 posts and crossbars tonight.
  2. Good to see Jarvy get on the board. 43 points this season? He could get to 60 or 65 this year.
  3. Solid kill followed by a very efficient and scoring PP. 4-1. What's worrisome: allowing 21 SOG thru 2 periods, including a handful of grade A's that tested Kochetkov.
  4. First 10 minutes okay- last 10, not so much. Turnovers again. Just like Tuesday.
  5. Might not make the entire game- late night last night at DPAC for the Blackberry Smoke concert. I'll do my best to go 60 minutes.
  6. That didn't take long (16 seconds) and no takers on Martinook. No winners tonight.
  7. Okay, Friday night in Phoenix... who ya got? I'm going with Seabass... #20
  8. One would logically think. Canes will need their A-game Saturday, otherwise, we'll see a repeat of the Dallas game. Regardless who may be in goal, the Canes need to score 3-4 goals per game just to have a shot at winning.
  9. And someone mentioned Sam, Baker and Teddy. All of whom are/were better than BY9. And, on another note, I actually have more fun watching UFL (XFL last year) than the NFL.
  10. Yes. I'd be very happy with a point tonite.
  11. Don't see this going our way tonight. Just not as quick to the loose pucks and too many turnovers.
  12. Dallas is the much better team tonight.
  13. There was no denying him on that play (photo above). It was like watching him drag those guys slow motion into the endzone.
  14. This is the play he drug 3 Philadelphia Eagles across the goal line on the way to winning the 2003 season NFC Championship 14-3 and going on to the Super Bowl. I remember we watched this game at a sports bar in Greensboro and as soon as the game was over, we drove to Charlotte and joined the mob scene around BOA when the buses arrived from the airport at 2AM or something ridiculous. I remember the interior lights going on in the buses when they pulled into the stadium so the fans could see the players. That was one of the best memories I have as a Panther fan back in the day.
  15. Questioning a play call or game plan is one thing. But to call Steve Wilks a sh!tty DC, Shanahan a sh!tty coach, show ill will towards CMC when all they do is win is just over the top.
  16. Have any of you been perusing the Panthers forum and the hate being spewed forth from supposed "fans" who have accused Christian McCaffery of faking injuries to facilitate his trade to San Francisco, calling Steve Wilks a fraud, Brock Purdy overrated, etc. Rather than be happy that someone in their chosen profession has achieved some level of success, rather than appreciate the championship caliber of excellence they demonstrate and the consistent winning seasons they put together; they'd prefer to project their own misery, scorn, unhappiness, and overall sh!tty attitudes on those who are enjoying some success. They're fans of a bad team, run by a bad owner and a recent history losing... a lot. And rather than appreciate what good football teams do on a consistent basis, they'd prefer to wallow in their own misery. And the audacity, the gall and the nerve of any Carolina Panther fan to call out any coach or player from any team is just ridiculous- you have no room to say a fugging word. Your team sucks today, has sucked for a few years and will continue to suck for a few more years. When you put together an organization and team that will win on a consistent basis and actually become relevant, then you might have some room to talk. But, until then, shut the fug up.
  17. Is it too much to ask that the announcers stay just a little unbiased, or at least not make it so obvious? I swear Jim Nantz gave Mahomes a BJ at halftime.
  18. Let's not forget both Raanta and Martin are both UFAs after the season, Freddie is under contract thru next season. But, if we're talking goalies who may be available at the TDL because they have expiring contracts at the end of the year... I'll start with all 3 Toronto goalies being UFAs: Samsonov, Matt Murray and Martin Jones. Murray has not played this season. Brossoit (WPG), Rittich (LAK), DeSmith (VAN)
  19. I've heard Usher was doing a concert that, coincidentally, Taylor Swift is attending and the entertainment was supposed to be a football game before and after.
  20. When I go to Hurricanes games and they're playing Washington, for example, there's always that one guy walking around the arena in a Pittsburgh Penguins sweater. Dude, you're in the wrong building.
