  1. Big difference between Raanta & Anderson- not as may rebounds with Raanta.
  2. Didn't say it was on Cam, did I. Terrible O-line, outcoached and couldn't stop anything on D.
  3. Hey guys. Decided today after the Panther game, where I posted 3 times (bad O-line, outcoached and Cam making a bad decision to run on the last play) and it was immediately more toxic than the Tinderbox. Anyway, I'm not going to waste my time with that forum any more.
  4. Again, you're wrong. Yep, your mother never forgot, either.
  5. You're so wrong. He made a bad decision fugwad. Was a Cam fan for years going back to Auburn. So, when you're done crying, c'mon over and smell my nuts, would ya?
  6. Just stop. 4 wides and he looked at 2. Everyone in the bldg knew Cam was going to run, even Rivera.
  7. Rhule getting outcoached by the most predictable coach in the league.
  8. You know you're O-line sucks when Cam Newton can't get 1 yard on a sneak.
  9. Anderson needs to wake up. 2 cheap goals over his glove side. As Tripp says, you have to keep that glove up.
  10. Staal line keeping Kings in their end. Playing solid.
  11. Lorentz took a shot the other night and he was a little dinged, now that I think about it. He may need a day off.
  12. Yeah, I'm watching BSO now and Abby just mentioned Stepan is playing today. Add some more weight and grit to the 4th line. Couple guys on this Kings roster who can make this a long day. Kopitar, Arvidsson (gives the Canes fits), Danault.
  13. I think Anderson is in for the long haul. He had 6 days off before the Anaheim game and with the every other day schedule, I think he's in thru the Washington game.
  14. Projected Lineup: Svech - Aho - Jarvis Teuvo - Vinny - Necas Nino - Jordie - Fast Martinook - KK - Lorentz The Thick Blue Line: Mr. Slavin - Bear Brady - Pesce Ian Cole - Tony D Healthy scratches: Derek Stepan & Brendan Smith
  15. TRACKING THE STORYLINES: Keep The Foot On The Gas: The Canes showed up in Vegas and handed the Golden Knights their first loss on home ice in over three weeks. Then they flew to Anaheim to snap the Ducks eight-game win streak. It's "all systems go" for the Metropolitan Division leaders right now, who are finding ways to win games against very good and very hot teams. The challenge for today will be to keep the same energy against the Kings. A Better Start: Head Coach Rod Brind'Amour said both Thursday post-game and Friday at media availability that he did not like his team's start against Anaheim, despite the win. He felt as if his team gave up too many chances, but gave his team credit by saying that they got better as the game went on. Look for the Canes to come out of the gate stronger this afternoon. Watch For The Bounce Back: Prior to dropping their two most recent contests to Washington and Winnipeg, the Kings had won seven in a row. They'll try and get back to their winning with an emphasis surely being on scoring after being shutout by the Capitals early this week. Doing It Big: The Hurricanes 13 wins in their first 15 games is the most in team history through that margin. They also currently have the highest points percentage of any NHL club (.867). Frederik Andersen's six wins away from PNC Arena pace the league and his 10 in total are tied for tops in the NHL.
  16. The Canes got physically pounded by Anaheim in the goal-less 2nd period, but they rebounded well in the 3rd when RBA put the Staal line out there on alternating shifts and they got very heavy with the Ducks and slowed them down. When Jarvis scored about halfway thru the 3rd, the Canes basically went into forecheck mode and stayed pretty physical throughout the remainder of the period. It worked to the point the Ducks couldn't get Gibson off the ice and gain a man-advantage until there was only 1:30 or so left in the game. Very well executed. I thought the way Anaheim was going, any mistake by the Canes would be capitalized on and we'd have overtime to deal with. But there weren't any real mistakes made in the 3rd, especially after Jarvis scored with a little over 10 minutes remaining.
  17. Huge win! Jarvis with the game winner, Anderson was huge! I wanted 8 points on this road trip...
  18. Getting out-physicalled, out-shot and out-hustled. Need some sandpaper and a couple breaks to win this one.
