I just hope he's in control. His life is worth more than a couple football games. Again, a man of his position can't be seen out in public noticably drunk. It's ok at home or in some offices but it's not ok in public. You have to act like the Boss, that's very un-boss like. Is his boss doing the same? I don't know. I've never seen a Panthers coach behave like this. The job may be too big for him.

Ok, you respect Cam. Do you respect what he thinks? What he knows? How he feels? What about Robby Anderson who said Cam should start next season, out loud? Does Robby know if he can still throw or if he or his body is broken down? Seattle, Atlanta and Carolina aren't trying to sign him if he's the man that is constantly described here by some as "done". If "done" players are eligible to play and can pass physicals we should see if Tommy Jane has been good to Jake. That assessment is very much the outside view of people that don't watch the Panthers. If you are a game watching Panthers fan you would have seen the incompetency surrounding Cam here in Carolina. From season to season. From Chudzinsky to Shula. From Smitty to Philly Brown. JR would spend every other year and yeah, Riverboat. Situations matter. Had Chudzinski stayed or Smitty and Greg Hardy in been that Superbowl. Who was his DJ Moore in New England? CMC? We saw the bad decisions, weak rosters and questionable coaching decisions to know Cam was always a solution never the problem, if anything he's always been a band-aid covering up bullsht.

Wanting to be back here in the community that he's given so much to and the community that became a part of him. People talk a lot of junk about Cam but the man does a lot of good when people aren't watching from hospital visits to handing out pizzas to the homeless, leaving huge tips to service industry folk around town. Not only is he a former MVP and record holder he is unselfish and caring when nobody is watching. I'm here locally so I get to hear about his other works. Until he doesn't want to fight anymore, I speak for many when I say THAT man should always welcome through those doors and until he retires he BELONGS with the Panthers and that's what I've learned in his absence. There are things that go beyond football and he is the Panthers first and only #1. Truly a special player, healthy, strong shouldered player. He knows that, he just wants some of that love they showed Watson, I will say Fitt wanting to sit down with Cam before FA tells you everything you need to know about who your next likely QB will be. Like I've said, watching Cam play is more entertaining than any of these below average free agent or any of these rookies all of whom need a redshirt and he gives the players something to play for a chance to win. I don't need help. Can't question my homerism. If Jake could still throw I'd be on his bandwagon.

I love Cam but that shoulder is shot and as the year goes on, it gets worse and worse Everyone knows this. As "finished,broke down and over" Cam is, he is much more entertaining to watch play football than Sam and 100% of the rookies in this draft. This defense, these players want to win. People for their own shts and giggles want what they want but what's best for this team right now, their moral, their will to win/play for something is no other than ACE BOOGIE. Now get out of your feelings and old narratives and let's take the damn NFCS. Crush them with Cam and weapons now AND a real OC and this defense. And Rhule not getting in the way. It's ripe for the taking.

Did you watch the games? How many times was the defense balling out but the offense couldn't score so we eventually lost. That was damn near all of them. If the defense is close to last year's, we've actually got more weapons on offense especially and oddly at the WR position a luxury Cam never had. DJ,Robby,Marshall,CMC,Hubbard, Thomas you add an NFL level QB and we've got a playoff team. Add an above average QB and we could instantly challenge for the NFCS, so yes while your pessimism is noted your underestimation is in error. The Panthers, with the Oline additions etc. literally are an above average QB away from competing, as long as the new coordinators, QB aren't over-Rhuled. Now if you're specifically calling out Rhules propensity to f' stuff up then maybe I can agree with that statement. The coach IS this teams biggest weakness. He's been that since the first off-season.
