Sam wasn’t having threads like this create after one bad game, and we turned on Sam because he was playing bad while the defense was still playing at an elite level, that’s not the case the last two weeks. Sam has missed his fair share of games and cam has too, cam is healthy and his bad play yesterday wasn’t because of physical limitations more so miscommunication and bad reads. Well for better or worst he’s starting til seasons end, so he gets until then before I have an opinion on whether he stays or goes, but being either pro or anti cam after just 3 games is delusional. Cam is more suited right now to do more with less than Sam is we’ll see how much more in the end and those are not facts he had more wins then half that list last year and this year is on pace to finish stronger than Lawrence and the other rookies you toss out there randomly, long term would I take the rookies of course but rn those guys are not better.

Darnold’s issue is he had putrid games while the defense was playing lights out, defense has played like garbage the last two games and we’re supposed to lean on that side more. the same issues when darnold was under center remain, Cam is better suited however under those circumstances

The problem is posters are brained washed into holding cam to 2015 standards in 2021, cam is still a top 15-18 qb imo but he is not the guy who’s going to carry a team to victory week in and week out he needs help from the supporting cast now instead of being a one man wrecking crew or at least having that ability. can’t have every aspect of a team fall apart and still expect good numbers from cam he’s not a top 8 qb like that anymore

The number 2 ranked defense has played like a bottom 5 the last two games, the hope was that the defense would continue to play lights out while cam gave the offense and extra boost to potentially give us a shot at a run, the defense has completely fell apart and the rest of the team as well. 2015 cam is not the end all be all, any version of cam besides 2016 would help this team how it’s currently constructed as long as the defense holds up, they have not, neither has coaching, neither has the o line, neither has our Allstar rb if you don’t like cam just say it lol would save us both a good bit of time

I’m not counting dropped passes either but the defense just can’t get off the field on 3rd down that’s with being fresh. Cam played bad but there wasn’t a moment where I was like we are losing because of cam’s play, we were losing cause we suck as a team in totality

First int led to 0 points, the second one did, after that it was just 3 and outs because we started every series 1-20 because of holding calls, the defense was Swiss cheese and STs allow a block punt for a td that was not the case today, if he performed like he did last week we still would have loss because of the other two phases in football

The defense played light outs with Sam at qb(besides cowboys game), sam’s issue is bad reads, his int were straight to the cbs, cam wasn’t off target on his ints, a no call PI and looks to be a miscommunication the Int on the pass intended for Robbie, I was expecting a showing like this at some point due to the prep time to get the playbook under his belt. we signed cam to give us competent qb play while the defense shutdown the opposing team, we are getting the opposite from that side of the ball lately, while STs sets the bed too the o line has been trash, the play calling too, cam is suppose to handle those two things better than Sam but we can’t expect anything good if the defense is just going to play like it’s bottom 5 instead of number 2 overall
