Is Canales digging his own grave?
Cpt slay a ho replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean if Hubbard didn’t get dinged we might have a losing record just like Bryce I can’t name one thing he excels at, offense is garbage and the team more times than not shows up unprepared in all phases brought back a dc who field the worst defense in panthers history…. idk how some can look at that and say “yeah we can win with this guy” -
I'm All In On Drafting a QB in Round 1
Cpt slay a ho replied to Daddy_Uncle's topic in Carolina Panthers
Think we need a draft or two before we go qb hunting again, try and build the team, specifically finding a identity i don’t think Dave is the guy so that also makes things a lot more difficult but we’ve tried and failed miserably on every attempt to find a qb, and it’s come at the detriment of losing proven ballers on this team -
Canales is a bum, we’re not going far with him
-
Yeah I’m surprised a NFL head coach watch Rico go ape poo for two weeks than gives him 8 carries when he’s averaging 6.8 ypc against a team that is weak against the run Canales is a bum we ain’t winning jack with him

Speaking of revisiting trades: Brian Burns
Cpt slay a ho replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I stated initially he should have been traded for the rams deal but once we didn’t take it, they should have extended him, we gave all the leverage up once that trade proposal leaked -

I’m not faulting Morgan, it’s Scott’s dumbass I was referring to -

He isn’t but looking at what those guys are getting paid, paying him what he’s making now wouldn’t have been terrible, they should have and still should be looking at pairing some guys with brown to form a pretty dominant d line -

He should have been traded for the 2 first rounders or extended immediately after they declined the trade These idiots we’re trading proven talent away for draft picks they eventually ended up whiffing on, should be the blueprint on how not to run a football front office I wanted to keep burns(barring the trade for two first rounders) we had a mob of people wanting to get rid of him because missed sacks and lack of double digit sack seasons when he was our only reliable edge rusher, whole situation was frustrating -
What's the best way to split RB carries?
Cpt slay a ho replied to Khaki Lackey's topic in Carolina Panthers
How about two rb set in the shotgun like we did with cam, stew, and d will ? both guys are good enough to be on the field at the same time, splitting series imo just isn’t doesn’t seem like it’s beneficial, felt last week jets defense played different with chuba in compared to Rico -
Oh naw I’m thinking more low level, Tua is def not worth trading for, unfortunately the guys that fit the bill are already playing games for the retrospective teams, Jacoby brisset, Carson wentz, Mac jones etc reality is the FO most likely isn’t looking at options that would potentially usurp young’s job, otherwise there would be more options

what does bryce young excel at
Cpt slay a ho replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nothing worth the assets spent and nothing worth spending 40-50 mil a year on just the harsh reality -
There’s better backup qb options, just gotta kick some tires, hell look what Joe Flacco went for in the same division
