The only reason I give him props is that he didnt just let them do the dink and dunk and let them comeback and win. Ive seen that way too much. Play soft dont let nothing by you, give them the underneath stuff. Today, we pressured and made Winston uncomfortable after we gave up 2 tds and adjusted to be more aggressive instead of dink and dunk.

Seriously if the O could just get 2 tds a game.

I believe we did go into coverage mode and that's when he started finding rhythm in the offense. When we started pressuring him we started getting Ints.

But my point is that Ive watched these games and no adjustments were made and teams came back and beat us. It was good to see Snow dial up pressure to seal the game instead of just allow the dink and dunk and let them come back

I would say the LUVU rip was but the other two was because Horn came on a blitz and tipped the ball and derrick brown picked it. That was because of the package and confusion and same with the last, blitz and Winston forced it and Horn Int. The long passes players just got burned, particularly Henderson and thats not Snows fault.

Phil Snow had the defense ready today. Granted they got some long passes and Olave killed us but the adjustments to blitz and use creative designed stunts to confuse Winston and put pressure on him to get rid of the ball allowed us to seal the W. We need more of that, especially on 3rd and long. Offense is still garbage and needs to pick it up but kudos to shenault for his 103 yards and TD on 1 drive. Made Bakers stats look real deceptive.

No this defense will tire out. Our defense is good but the O has to win some time of possession games and put together drives. We are sputtering and I will say this Saints beat themselves today. They beat us in yards and almost every category. This offense has to get it together.

Also, on some of these routes. The WRs are stopping and at the end of the route and not moving to find a open spot for Baker to find someone. They need to continue to move because these routes are basic.

Im convinced McAdoo is the issue. These routes a 4 year old can draw up. They are so simple with no complexity.

Honestly, if offense doesnt do anything this game, things may get ugly

IMO I thought Christensen shouldve played LT this game. He atleast has seen some action. Might not been better but atleast he has more experience. Horn is till getting used to the game and Ickey will be good. He just had probably one of the best in the game lined up across from him day 1. I bet he learned alot today.

He is what we have so I have no choice to pull for him. But the run defense is what killed us today.
