Does a bear poo in the woods ? if there is any validity to ‘history repeating’ or ‘past is prologue’, count on it.

Are you watching the Panthers tomorrow

Me either I want to, but can’t it’s a sickness … or sadomasochistic. -
Wilks Set This Team Back
raleigh-panther replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is the point many refuse to accept as regards to CMC trade, why didn’t they take the Rams offer for him, which would have resulted in better draft positioning in each rd is beyond me. Anyway, to me, it’s far more important at the GM Coach level. What is the Panthers philosophy going to be and who are the talent evaluators to help them get it. The coach / GM / scouts so much more important to future of this franchise -
Harbaugh to Carolina Makes Too Much Sense...
raleigh-panther replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
My feeling is if Fitterer stays, the HC will be Shane Waldron with Wilks as the dark horse Harbaugh will stay at Michigan just my thoughts -
Draft position all rds as of today
raleigh-panther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think I’m with you Steve smith is right. This team needs ‘depth everywhere and fix it now vs coming to the realization in season’ in addition to obvious holes he should have added ‘quality’ in front of ‘depth’ I believe it was Gil Brandt who said ‘if there is a qb you want, you get him. Forget about draft position’. the Panthers will be somewhere between 6 and 9. Surely, of the 10 top qbs, there is someone they think is sure fire, go get him. If they don’t feel that way, fix this roster and move on to next year for that QB -
Can Sam Darnold play himself into becoming the 2023 starter?
raleigh-panther replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I rewatched the game. Darnold played really well …impressive at times getting that offense out of long third downs and a beautiful throw on 4th and 3 to Dj and Darnold moving his feet to drift away from the rush to get that 4th and 3 pass perfectly to DJ I used to believe he wasn’t salvageable I don’t believe that anymore and I wanted him gone he isn’t going to be Mahomes or Allen but he is growing into being a decent gave manager had that panthers defense not been so atrocious, the storyline on him today would be different not trying to upset anyone …just looking at his performance without passion -
Draft position all rds as of today
raleigh-panther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. Lot of them are playing for their next position with another team …but to me, pulling vets after halftime should be done…I mean, don’t want Ickey, Bozeman or Moton injuring a knee -

PFF grades from Panthers Week 17 loss to Buccaneers
raleigh-panther replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Steve Smith said it best on WFNZ ‘this team needs depth before the season, and not to find out it doesn’t have it during the season’. Front office far too smug about the ability of that d backfield …I’ll piss people off and include Chinn in that statement I’ve noticed when ‘a safety’ makes a mistake, Coach will use ‘Xavier’ but when it’s Chinn ‘a safety missed his assignment’ that whole group outside of horn, including Jackson are poor CJ Henderson….no, just no -
Draft position all rds as of today
raleigh-panther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well. There’s resting and there is ‘pulling’. they have nothing to gain…at all Falcons drafted Desmond so they should not be in the QB Market at least Goff has been great so lions are out of qb race -
Draft position all rds as of today
raleigh-panther replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Heard if they lose this weekend, they could go as high as 6 if all falls as it should really no point in playing burns or brown or Shaq or several oline men (ickey, Bozeman, Moton) and have them wind up on IR If I’m Tepper and Gettleman, it is ‘play bench and see what we have’ But who knows. The saints need a qb too….they will probably play behind the scrubs -
Jim Harbaugh has convo with David Tepper
raleigh-panther replied to Daeavorn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Harbaugh’s offensive ranks aren’t that impressive His record is impressive however to me he is really a defensive, run first coach even though he was a Qb INMHO it will be as it is but in my view, if you are one of those beating the drum for a bright offensive mind, that isn’t Jim Harbaugh. His brother yes, but not him -
Harbaugh to Carolina Makes Too Much Sense...
raleigh-panther replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
He may want full control and as Tepper is ‘once burned’ , that may be a deal breaker I don’t know how I feel about him I know it doesn’t matter how I feel but it is cautious also, the nfl has changed since his time in it saying he is ‘odd’ is an understatement and that oddness or quirkiness, as I understand it, grated on players and staff alike in San Fran oh well -
Their starting OTs that had been out a good portion of the year where back yesterday from injury you see the result
-
This is my main issue with Wilks. By not going for it, and twice he was in that position, he stops offensive momentum and hands it to the defense Can’t do that against Brady or even in the nfl where the margins are small. You put your 6’3” QB under center, put a fullback behind him and push his ass the first down I mean, when you hear over and over again what a strength this revamped line is it is very hard to buy into that when you don’t go for a foot.

…sooo, Horn played yesterday? I missed that. Do tell how Horn played You know the reality of this team over the past 4 years and you want to make the Panthers something they are not they are not and have not been some defensive juggernaut over the past 4 years. The reality of what that Panthers defense is now is that it is a college level defense that does ok against the lesser teams in the NFl or teams with injuries. Against the big boys, they get hit in the mouth and collapse ..Never seen a nfl level defense give up so many 90 yard drives Example, Tampa got it’s starting two offensive tackles back yesterday. Everyone saw the result im not going to comment on individual players on either side of the ball. It’s not their fault they are here because a previous HC had no idea what he was doing and a patchwork team exists with a GM that all indications are, did what that HC wanted done Like everyone, I have issues with Wilks but I have to be fair to him. These are not his players and not his staff and staff isn’t found mid-season It’s like having to cook a meal, and people expecting 5 star meal and the main ingredients came from Walmart You should know this If you don’t, no point in going back and forth I feel like Wilks got blood from a turnip. You don’t and that is fine I do not know the particulars of his job status post Arizona and neither do you nor should we. That’s his business no matter who the coach is, the GM needs to do better, period If he stays, he doesn’t have the excuse of Rhule telling him what to do anymore
-
Who should he have put on the future HOF?
-
Again. He didn’t drafted and staff this team he was quoted as telling snow his dline was too light for sustained success in the Nfl he was right
-
Tell me about his qb room how about his WR room or TE room or his offensive coaching staff I’ll wait

How good is Brian Burns 2022 campaign?
raleigh-panther replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
The bigger the game, the more he disappears even with Reddick it was that way QB was not our problem today a defense that allows a offense to do whatever it wants at will was the problem over and over and obey again The biggest fairy tale ever told was that the Oanthets were dune defensive juggernaut they are not -
Big time players show up in big time games
raleigh-panther replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
If this case, you should John Madden. ‘Big time players make big plays in big games’ who di yhe panthers have after 2 years of drafts by Rhule and Fitterer reminder. Moore. Burns. CMC are from the previous regime
