  1. Both passing games clicking.....this may be a shoot out
  2. I've seen a lot of things on the huddle......this is up there
  3. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-announce-2021-captains Defense - Shaq, Burns, Donte Offense - Sam, Morton , Paradis, CMC S.T - J.J PS: The amount of people rooting for Sam to fail is pretty pathetic
  4. So glad the season starts this week.....the time for talk is at an end. Fug the pundits it's us against the world
  5. Like I said in the prediction thread.....7 win floor 10 win ceiling. If we finish with the top pick the coaching staff needs to be reevaluated
  6. Your right. The NFC East is bad, the AFC historically has been bad in years past outside of the Patriots but they' ll be solid this year.
  7. 7 win floor 10 win ceiling.......We play the NFC East and AFC East two bad divisions. We still need another draft with a influx of talent like we did this year, except focused on OL, LB, and DB before we can really contend (Provided Sam works out)
  8. I would obviously want multiple, but if we can just win one I'd die a happy man
  9. One thing I know about the huddle this place is going to be UNBEARABLE once the season starts
  10. How is this possible....I thought we ruined our cap for the next 20 years because we extended Robby??
  11. Yep...year after the superbowl and when we let Norman walk(thanks Dave), should of double checked before posting
  12. Notable one & done drafts over the last 15 years with two honorable mentions. Only listing the one standout 2005 ‐ Thomas Davis 2009 - Captain Munnerlyn(yes our 7th rounder) 2011 - Cam Newton 2014 ‐ James Bradberry *2019 - Brian Burns (Dennis Daley is our last hope) *2008 Jonathan Stewart subject to debate based upon your opinion of Godfrey and Otah
  13. I always wanted to have a big draft with 10+ draft picks like all the "smart teams" do. I said after the draft if we hit on 6 of these players meaning they are starters/solid contributors it would go along way in facilitating our rebuild.......time will tell, but so far so good
  14. I was actually shocked by this.... His un-vaccinated status is going to really hurt his ability to be picked up. But if someone wants him and he retires that would flat out dumb. Like Zod said he needs to collect NFL game checks as long as he can get them
  15. Duly noted, but with how bare the roster had become in respect to talent/depth we need at least one more draft like we just had and the influx of talent it brings. Same way we loaded up on CB, WR, and DL this draft we need to load up on 2/3 OL, 1/2 LB, and potentially more secondary help. We need more than 5 picks to do that
  16. Yikes....Provided Sam pans out and a stud O-line doesn't drop to us we desperately need to trade back in the 1st and maybe 2nd to add more picks. I loved the way we stockpiled picks, 11 to be exact and they all seem like their gonna contribute in their own way. I never want to go back to the Hurney trade ups, coming away with 5 picks and getting 1 1/2 contributors per draft.
  17. Feels good to have a secondary that isn't full of udfa and retreads.... Colin Jones, Roman Harper, Charles Godrey, Bene, Nakumara(!!!)......may still need a piece or two but we have real NFL talent back there now
  18. Just to be different from all the Luke, Cam, Gross answers Gonna go with Ryan Kalil and Peppers
  19. Not gonna happen at least not this year. 1. We're to close to the start of the season 2. Watson is to hot to touch 3. We need to see what Same can do. If we were going to tradr for Watson we should of done it before we picked up Sam's 5th year
  20. Had to be done.... Slye was always inconsistent but now he's just broken at this point. Best of luck Joey
  21. Encouraged. The OL blocked a lot better for him after the first two possessions and you could see him settle in. Gonna rewatch the game later to check out his footwork and how he worked thru his progressions, but so far so good My one knock is he's gotta take that sack on the one play he was being spun and tried to fling it. That's leads to disaster the majority of the time
  22. I agree especially based upon where he was drafted, a lot of people won't even remember him Honorable mention for me is Corvey Irvin. I had a friend of mine who is a big G.A fan who said he shouldn't even be in the league, let alone be drafted in the 3rd round......he was right
  23. 2nd time we've traded a player who wasn't gonna make our roster.....I'm really starting to develop a man crush on Fitts.
  24. Ignore my above post wrong thread......why can't we edit post!!
