  1. Trading the farm for Watson and keeping Rhule all seven years as the Panthers repeat the Cam Newton years with less success.
  2. I hope not. He's 30 and has never played a full season. There has also been talk of him needing knee surgery this offseason. If the Panthers want someone else at LT, they need to draft one at 6.
  3. Congrats for falling for the myth that attractive men don't rape, assault, or force themselves on women. Just because someone has an attractive physical appearance doesn't mean their soul, personality, or whatever you want to call that dwells inside us all is as equally attractive or good. Here are some examples: Armie Hammer, Ed Westwick, Ted Bundy(yes, he raped his victims in addition to murdering them), and Darren Sharper. If you want less famous examples: Kevin Coe, Richard Gillmore, Aron Kee, and Brian Witty were all described as handsome and charming by their victims.
  4. If I'm Mitch, I'm doing everything I can to keep Bridges even if that means trading Rozier, Washington, and a pick or two. Both are streaky, but Bridges is younger, bigger, a better defender, and can play more positions. He's also averaging slightly more points per game on less shots. Terry's stats. Miles' stats. Edit: As for calling the fans out in the post game show, that's not a good look at all. Was it the Wes guy? I've never seen Eric, Dell, or Ashley do that before.
  5. Ah, the crypt keeper. I loved Tales from the Crypt when I was younger. This is skeletor
  6. Unless the players totally give up on JB, he'll be around another year or two while Ball and Bridges continue to develop. That is assuming the team doesn't get stupid and let Bridges walk in the offseason. He is turning into that second star teams need these days and seems to like it in Charlotte. That said, he also wants to get paid. Hayward is probably done as a starter in the NBA. He just can't stay healthy and is overpaid. That probably makes him untradeable too. I could see Ball bailing for the Lakers since that is his hometown team, but hopefully he sticks around for 8-10 years before doing so.
  7. I don't think it's time for that yet. Finding a more consistent scorer is a must as well as a defensive big. Maybe Jones and Bouknight could fill those roles. And that was a great shot for the win in the VT and Clemson game.
  8. Looks like the Hornets are going to slide out of the play in game at this rate. Maybe they should just use the last few games as player development and play the young bigs and Bouknight if he's healthy.
  9. I'll quit following the team if a trade is made for Watson, but I won't cheer another NFL team. The Panthers are the only NFL team I watch now. If I give up on them, I'm done with the NFL altogether. College will satisfy any football cravings I have easily enough.
  10. Winning a couple more games before midseason to show improvement and Tepper puts it in writing that Rhule returns for a two more years before the team loses out the rest of the season. Would that be dumber?
  11. This is something most are overlooking. If Watson is successful in forcing a trade from the Texans, he may attempt to do it again in a year or two when he's not happy with whichever team he ends up with.
  12. If that is too extreme and radical for you, let's say the QB was just recorded making racist comments. Which is far more likely today than a KKK rally thanks to everyone always carrying around a recording device. And instead of other teams' players not wanting to play against him, they look forward to playing team X so they can hurt the guy. The protests, pulled sponsors, and teammates not wanting to play with him still happen. Is the QB still worth it?
  13. Not true at all. Since you said an elite QB is absolutely worth any distraction, let's go with a hypothetical. Let's say team X has an elite white QB. This QB a racist. He gets filmed taking part in a KKK rally or march. The team's corporate sponsors pull all their funding in protest. People, fans and otherwise, protest outside the stadium daily. The rest of the team speaks out against the QB and refuse to play with him. Opposing players speak out and refuse to play against him too. Is the elite QB worth that baggage?
  14. All teams have to do is stay in the face of the Hornets players. No more defense than that seems to be needed. As for the Hornets' defense, I guess MJ needs to spring for an exorcist. The ghost of Clifford keeps yelling "dig!" and so the Hornets keep packing the paint when it's not needed.
  15. Just where is Green Bay getting the money and cap space for that trade even with the Panthers paying part of those salaries?
