Don't think I've ever seen a guy get a foul called against him while on his back before.
-
I don't care how much Richards scores as long as he can rebound and provide some defense.
-
JB says Plumlee will start, but Richards will play heavy minutes.
-
Is that this year's stats? If so, Graham would have been the better choice. And like you said, that extra cash could have been used to sign Holmes or another center.
-
That was what I was thinking. I haven't looked at their stats, but Graham seemed to be just as good as Rozier at shooting 3s as well. Graham netted a first in the trade. Rozier was the more proven player. He should have netted more in a trade too.

10:30 start tonight. I'll probably fall asleep like I did last night.
-
I agree with most of what you've said. I would have kept Graham over Rozier though. It's rumored Terry had fairly high trade value before he was extended. I would have made use of that value and kept the cheaper option. I've said it before and I still think JB will stick around for a couple more years at least unless the team just refuses to play for him. If JB can get the team into the playoffs past the first round, but not past the second, he'll probably get the same treatment that Jackson got from the Warriors and sent packing in favor of a new voice.

Everything you say is on Brady is actually on Rhule. He's the HC and has final say on everything from plays to roster decisions. Instead of saying he can't let things continue, you should be saying he shouldn't have let things get as bad as they are. His ego wrote a check he can't cash.
-
Yep Going off CRA's post, what good does it do Rhule to fire him now? The answer is nothing, especially if things stay the same or get worse. Who does Rhule blame or sacrifice at the end of the season if Brady is already gone? Rhule will wait it out and fire Brady at the end of the season if Brady doesn't walk on his own. Blaming the OC will only work once to save an HC's job if the owner and GM have a lick of sense.

I fell asleep just before the fourth quarter. I'll take the blame for the L.

I hate to say it, but this is pure fantasy and won't ever happen.

Next Steps (as considered from my toilet)
jayboogieman replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
For some reason I picture you being like the guy in this scene at the prospect of Howell being a Panther. -
Haven't paid attention to the Swarm. Maybe I should, but college ball starts Tuesday night. Kennard still doing what he did at Duke.
-
I figured they would have sent Bouknight and Jones to the Swarm for a while since they're getting nothing but a few garbage minutes here and there.
-
Yep. Rozier should probably be benched for a game or two. Let Martin, can't believe I typed that, and Bouknight have his minutes.
-
Bridges is doing well early too
-
Rozier has to be in his own head. He's missing everything.
-
Good start by Hayward.

Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis
jayboogieman replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
I figured it would have been obvious that if the fans quit coming to the games enough for him to want to move the team, they wouldn't be paying for tickets. -

I don't blame you for venting. Sometimes it helps to get things off your chest. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Tepper moves the team. He's not a southern guy and would probably prefer a northern city or a larger one. Toronto could be a destination for an NFL team. -

Exactly. The owners don't care what the fans want as they know if they refuse to come to games in one city, other cities will welcome them with open arms. -

I don't think he cares. The team is an investment and an ego stroke. He's one of 31 people that own an NFL franchise. That's an exclusive club. Even better for his ego, he's part of an even smaller club that owns an NFL and MLS franchise. If the fans refuse to come to games, he'll simply move the team and not care one bit.
