Falcons offense was the easiest to gameplay for. 90% of the time they are in shotgun its a pass. Their plays were dictated by same formations. This made it easier to gameplan for out of all of our opponents. NE will let us know if we made any progress with our coordinators preparation.

People wanted to get rid of Cam. He was our other fist round QB selection. You keep them through their rookie contracts. You cant provide a better solution because their isn't one right now. The only 2 QBs that could overcome our historically bad team is Mahomes and Josh Allen. They dont grow on trees buddy. Sellars nor Archie Manning close to them right now.

What would you have the team do? We have started 8 QBs since Cam Newton and all of them have been "bigger" than Bryce. They all failed here. Whats the solution grab a guy that looks the part and lose due to having to develop another rookie QB?? Whats the master plan? Keep hitting the reset button? We have down that for 7 years. Looks like we have a rub concept dialed up for XL here but TM4 runs the wrong route and keeps the DB in the area. If you watch closely enough BY9 looks it off immediately as he sees TM4 running up field instead of cutting in. XL would have been the target here. This also explains TM4 going up to BY9 after commercial break and tapping his chest as if he was saying "my bad." We can chalk it up to rookie mistakes. I do wish BY9 did try to throw an eligible ball here, but at this point the only eligible target on this side of the field was JT and I don't think BY9 ever saw him. I wasn't a fan of going empty on this play but seeing the film it does appear to be the right play call just bad execution. You can see both XL and BY are frustrated at the play's end.

From a fans perspective I believe Dave leads more as a coordinator. He is super involved with being a QB guru. However showing an early doubt in the QB you are supposed to develop here can come off as if you are still green as a coach. In his other roles he couldn't change the QB as he went which made him focus on the teams chosen QB to develop and not giving away reps to others. Yes he gives off the energy to us as a positive type coach yet his lack of involvement on motivating the entire team shows on the field. We had more success with general type coaches who demanded player accountability but also encouraged them to be themselves and to play within their personality on the field without forgetting the basics. The team also needs field generals out there. Dave's speeches dont really motivate and I know he means well but man he is boring as a coach.
