You know what. Miami might be a good fit for Matt Moore. If Dan Henning is still OC he made Jake Delhomme a pro bowler. Matt Moore has better physical tools than Jake. This could end up being a good deal for Matt and Miami. Don't tell anyone I said this

It wasn't directed at you per se. There are some other haters who are quick to point out the Parcell's rule to say we shouldn't take Cam, yet then jump out in front to criticize Gruden's QB knowledge. I personally don't like the Parcells formula bc I don't think formulas are fail proof and you have to take each prospect into consideration on an individual basis. For instance if Luck came out this year we would be foolish to not take him bc of a stupid formula. That has nothing to do with Cam I have always felt that way. And this muted thing is driving me insane and I am failing miserably at it

Honestly I haven't been out yet to look around. I know that several houses within 2-3 miles of me were completely destroyed. It was close enough to me where typically I just ignore most of these warning yet yesterday I was bunkered down in my utility room with my dogs.

I am in a bet so I can't put text on the message board until after the draft. TJ was given a raw deal by the fans at UNC. The criticism was unfair. He struggled as a freshman, then played REALLY well as a sophomore but got hurt. Struggled his junior year, but was playing with a lot of true freshmen in his offensive line and true freshmen wide receivers. He is smart, competitive, has a quick release, accurate down field, lit up Patrick Peterson and company, lit up FSU (400+ yards passing in both games), and mentally tough. I don't want him for the Panthers though. I just think he can be a late round steal which is what I took the thread to mean.

I only heard a bit of it too but they said (I believe) that they were concerned about the offense he came from. Not any character stuff, although they could be concerned about that, he just didn't say it. I woulda posted on the big thread but I have a bet with Verge and I can't post text.

I dunno. I never saw a bracket. Just some random quote. You could have doctored that. You could have gone back, found your post, edited it, the brought it out as if you actually said that. If you had entered and actually had a bracket however I could look at your bracket that was locked in before the tourney.

I saw it. Decided instead of talking smack to you I would allow you to bask in your imaginary bracket glory.

In a nutshell I don't think we have ever seen a physical specimen like him at the QB position in history. 6'6 250 pounds, strong arm, accurate, has a 40 time faster or as fast as Deangelo Williams. His fundamentals have been hotly debated. I think he has very good throwing mechanics from the waist up. His footwork is hit or miss and he gets lazy with that at times. I do however think it is a minor flaw that can be easily fixed. He has a lot of questions about his ability to pick up the NFL offense. It has been my belief that it won't be as difficult as some have said, but it is a significant question. The biggest question for me is his character. I think he can be a once in a decade type talent. But he also could turn out to be a bust. Luck was a safer pick. Cam Newton is a much higher risk to bust, BUT his upside is astronomical. Even higher than Luck's. So he is a high risk but super high reward type of guy.
