  1. Im sure it has been said, but usually you can tell on the spot whether there is a completely torn ligament. So I am holding out hope that it is indeed just a minor sprain
  2. OH SPORTS GODS... WHAT HAVE I DONE TO ANGER YOU?!?!?
  3. Cam played fine last night. Benji fell down on a route, Cotchery ran the wrong route on a play, Cam barely missed Corey Brown downfield with pressure in his face, and he completed 5 of the other 7 passes. Not worried aboit the offense, Bills #1 defense was still in the game. Plus offense usually looks rough in preseason. I felt we looked about right on offense. Defense has me more worried
  4. At least our problem is having too many WRs instead of not enough
  5. Keep them all and revolutionize NFL offense and play 10 WRs on offense. I call it the Reverse Fat Alice plan
  6. Question about Addison. Sometimes when we observe DE's we get caughy up in rushijg the passer. Addison has always been a pass rush specialist. So my question is to those that are there, when you say he has been looking better, is it because he looks more like an every down end or is it just because he is getting to the QB?
  7. If these two guys can produce we are all winners
  8. He got caught with weed? pffft
  9. This is just going to be my go to pic for these threads about other QBs
  10. You can tell the wannabe competitors from the real competitors. Wannabe competitors play for a piece if plastic with a brass figurine on top of it. Real competitors play for the morbid satisfaction of watching your opponent quietly weep in the corner after you defeated them. Nothing beats the satisfaction of winning and a participation trophy doesn't heal the wounds of losing. The idea that this has real world implications is stupid.
  11. Yeah, you touched on something there. Participation trophies and such also encourages continued participation. No one likes losing, but at the end if the day these should be positive experiences for children. Making it hyper competitive will only encourage kids to quit playing. These are kids after all, and let's be honest, there are three types of parents that have kids play youth sports. 1- the parents that facilitate and encourage their kids to do this thing they like and just want them to have fun and learn (probably the vast majority of parents). 2- are forcing their kids to participate even if they don't really want to because it is a glorified babysitter service and they can have a couple hours on the weekend for some afternoon delight, run errands, or just relax for a couple of hours when their kids are at practice. 3- hyper competitive parents that expect their kids to also be hyper competitive and end up yelling at the coach or getting in fist fights with the youth legal official because "THIS POO IS SERIOUS BRO!!" These parents also tend to be the ones that are so competitive they can't comprehend that their little Bobby actually sucks at soccer and that is why he doesn't play as much, and create unreasonable expectations for their child and just believes the rest of the world doesn't see their kid's greatness.
  12. Who cares if kids get a small trophy for participation? This is howling at the moon bullshit that really has no real world impact. I got participation ribbons for swim meets when I was a child. This is dumb.
  13. If he is going to be a dick I wouldn't even franchise him. Or at least not twice. He is good, I have always stuck up for him. But he ain't that damn good (25 mill then 30 mill on tags). If he doesn't make a commitment to you it is time to search for alternatives. Keep that defense together and they will still be playoff caliber no matter what. Glad we got our guy locked up at a reasonable price (as far as QB contracts go)
  14. I bought a lighter for 15 bucks. How close does that get me to free all-pro?
  15. Venom has gone off the grid to avoid the illuminati He did manage to sneak in one post the other day so he is still lurking in the shadows
