I guess if you are going to ge thrown out of a game, a preseason game is the one you want to be thrown out of.

He has ran the ball fairly well. That's about it.

I am fairly certain he was out of the pocket.

He certainly hasn't looked good. Hasn't looked terrible, but definitely not good. Of course, its early.

Looking at the scroll for the Detroit Atlanta game, Detroit fumbles on its first drive, and the Falcons get stopped on a 4th and 3.

It will be Panthers football and that alone will make it interesting to me. I don't really care how we play as a team, just want to see individual performances.

lol I think it would be suck for Manning now. Many fans are ready to reserve him a spot in the HOF after his two big performances last year against Southwest Texas hair care college and the New Mexico institute of tire repair, or whomever it was they played last year.

I agree the team needs to look competent. But I was only referring to wins and losses. And in terms of wins and losses, the only thing that matters is our record at the end of the season.

Playoff teams change every year. Three of the first four are considered potential challengers for a playoff spot. Only New England is considered really weak. We start with three out of four on the road. Honestly, if we finish the first 4 with a 2-2 record, I will be satisfied.

I will be glad when September gets here, so we can start talking about how they are doing instead of how they might do. That being said, I don't think think we will play that well at first, and we could end up 1-3 after the first four games, but we will hopefully get better as the season goes along.

Was looking at Cleveland's cap space. Next year they have a 135 million in cap space tied up in three players, Ward, Garret, and Watson. They would have been much better off sticking with Mayfield and trying to put a great team around him.

I have been working a lot with automation of various things over the past few years. When and if automated driving occurs, things will get worse before they get better. There will be hidden flaws in the automation software, some people will have a lot of trouble adjusting to it and it will make things worse for them, and there will be the ever present security threats. A car or bus or truck getting hacked could be a huge deal.

A lot of times, winning or losing a preseason game comes down to which 3rd of 4th string qb plays best. We were preseason juggernauts when Joe Webb was running the preseason 4th qtr show.

I think Jones will be unwilling to deal him to a NFC rival, but stranger things have happened. Bills are in cap hell right night. Chargers seem to be in the best position of those four.

I agree. Fwiw, I doubt the Cowboys would be willing to deal him to any NFC team, unless one of them makes a ridiculous offer.

While I agree that we won't really know how good he is until we see him in action, I would hardly call his college numbers just ok. He was top five in the nation in receiving yards his final two years, number three in his last year. None of the other receivers drafted in the first round came close to matching his final year numbers from a statistical standpoint. He had 1300 plus yards receiving in his final season and did it in 12 games. The next two guys drafted in the first round had fewer total yards and played in more games.
