  1. Its a fun game to watch, but what a bunch of stupid mistakes by both sides.
  2. Did the Rams watch the cowboys stupid call at the end, and say hey lets copy the cowboys?
  3. Easy to say that after the game has started.
  4. Well, they have a very good defense, and a kicker who can hit clutch fg's in the snow.
  5. A chance yes. At this level, you always have a chance. But I think Brady and Company will score a few more points than Green Bay did.
  6. You really think Jimmy G and company will beat Brady in Tampa? Anything could happen, but Tampa is a better team than SF.
  7. Both number one seed/home teams lost. SF won without scoring an offensive td. For all the talk about Burrow and Rogers, it was the defense that won it for Cincy, and the defense/special teams for SF that beat Rogers and Green Bay.
  8. Oh I know. And the problem with our oline is that they look like this against several not so good defenses. But I also think its very important to have a qb that makes an oline look better. And Sam does not.
  9. Watching the games today, it seems that a lot of offensive lines suck.
  10. Maybe, but I have a feeling they are going to need to score more than 19 points in the next game.
  11. I was watching college basketball, didn't see the other two. But that one wasn't a bad pass. It hit the receiver in the hands. Defender just made a great play. It happens. The biggest mistake Tannehill made was that he had someone underneath wide open, and didn't throw to him. In that situation, you take the sure thing.
  12. That wasn't a bad pass by Tannehill, but it was a fantastic play by Apple.
  13. Cincy has spent several draft picks on offensive linemen over the last three years. They may decide that those picks will get better and they don't need to be a big player in free agency, at least not in the oline.
  14. Burrow spending a lot of time on his a$$ today.
  15. That was a good throw, and a fantastic catch. I am not sure about the int, but I suppose they didn't have enough clear evidence to overturn it.
  16. I don't really care. Either we win next year, or Rhule will be gone. He can hire whomever he pleases.
  17. I am not saying that we should get Cousins, but Cousins is significantly better than Darnold. Darnold throws a lot more interceptions per passing attempt, fumbles a little more, and just makes some baffling decisions. Cousins may not win many games, but he tends not to do stupid things to lose them. Darnold has more interceptions than starts in three of his four seasons. Irt Dalton, only as a backup.
  18. Hindsight makes it easy to be smart. If Trey Lance ends up being a future HOF qb, while Trevor Lawrence ends up a journeyman qb, would that mean the Jaguars were dumb to take him over Lance?
  19. I would say that being smart and lucky are both integral. I remember all the talk about teams tanking for Tua before his last college season. No one had heard of that guy Joe Burrow. The Bengals were smart enough to take him, and lucky that he decided to transfer to LSU so people could see what he had. Meanwhile, the Dolphins ended up getting Tua, and I am not sure they were either lucky or smart.
  20. Are far as his pass catching abilities, who knows. Our total passing attempts were middle of the league statistically, even though we were behind in most games for most of the second half of the season. Which means we didn't pass a lot until we had to, and when we had to, it was against a defense that was ready for it. And we mostly targeted the receivers (and CMC for the few games he played). Throw in bad oline play, and a qb that threw it to the other team a lot, and we aren't going to see much from the tight end.
  21. I flew American out to Los Angeles a few months ago. I walked past the first class seats on one of the newer planes. They had walled off Cubes. Best first class seats I have ever seen. Still not worth the thousands I would have had to pay, but probably not a big deal for CMC.
  22. I don't think Murray has to play out of this world for the Cardinals to have a shot at winning most games. Just like any QB in the NFL, if he completes passes and doesn't turn the ball over, the Cardinals have a shot to win. But when he plays horribly like he did last night, they have no shot and I think that is true for most teams/qbs in the NFL. I have to admit though I am not enamored of Murray. I think he can look exceptional, and he might get better, but he seems very inconsistent. The Cardinals do need a better running game though to help him out. I also think the narrative that Cam carried us in 2015 is not exactly accurate. He was great of course, and deserved the MVP. But our defense carried us for the first few games. Josh Norman's interceptions where the reason we won several of the early games.
