  1. The forty niners defense is getting beat like a drum so far.
  2. After the last two weeks, they might be looking for a new kicker.
  3. Those two plays show what is so problematic with Purdy. Sometimes it looks like he can be a future star. Other times, not so much.
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Lions fans are there. Once in a lifetime opportunity for them. That being said, sometimes it depends on where the mikes are.
  5. I said score, not td. The errors by the WR definitely cost them a td though.
  6. No doubt, the KC d played a heck of a game. But three bad plays on the same series by their top receiver cost them one score. A horrible decision by their qb cost them another.
  7. Wow, not a play I would have called, but it worked. That is ballgame. Its a cliche, but in this case its true. Baltimore beat themselves.
  8. They might have declined a 5 yarder, but 15, I don't think they would. KC might get to punt on the Baltimore side of the 50, or close to it.
  9. Ball was uncatable, but maybe it should have been called.
  10. If I were the ravens, I would go for the end zone, and then kick the fg.
  11. The network ref disagreed with you. That play reminded me a little of the end game against the Patriots in 2013.
  12. TO's have killed them (turnovers, not timeouts).
  13. No need to trash Jake. His problem when he started throwing all the picks was a bad arm. That was just a horrible decision on Jacksons part.
  14. Well, that probably does it. Horrible throw by Jackson.
  15. And now Clowney gets a roughing the passer, and unlike a lot of them, this one was obvious. Baltimore is self destructing.
  16. No doubt. Zay Flowers is going to get a lot of heat if the Ravens don't win.
  17. In the offseason, Ravens need to significantly upgrade the receiving corps.
  18. It wasn't exactly the same offensive line, with BC out. But I agree with some others who said that the oline we had wasn't good at the offense we were running. The oline was at its best when it was pushing ahead, with a power rushing attack. They just weren't good at zone blocking. As far as the receivers, outside of Thielen (who had a great year) and Chark, (and hurst if you are including te's) they haven't been anywhere but here.
  19. You certainly have a valid point. The future doesn't look bright for Young at this point. But I will point out that for us, Baker Mayfield (imo) looked worse than Bryce did, but with the proper coaching and team around him, he looked at least adequate at QB this year. We can at least hope for the same in Bryce for the next year. Probably won't work, but I am not sure we have any choice.
  20. I find any other solution/option baffling. The odds of getting a successful qb in the later rounds of the draft are maybe 1 in 25. For every Brock Purdy, there are 20-25 Ian Book's. I am not saying we shouldn't try if the staff sees one they like, but if that is the backup plan, then I hope Dan Morgan has his lucky socks on when he drafts. And we aren't going to get a high value free agent to come to this year's worst team. And any other free agent we get is going to be another Andy Dalton. If you want an Andy Dalton on the bench as your backup plan, I am ok with that, but unless we put a superb team around him, the odds of making the playoffs with him are slim and none. And we aren't going to be able to put a superb team around him.
