That’s it, that’s literally all it takes to win the modern NFL. None of this over the top, vertical offense that requires a generational QB. Defense and running, it’s always been the key in Carolina.

I get that. I’m just not convinced we are going to find someone mid season to make us better. Yes, we could probably find a more better physical specimen at the position. At what cost though? Losing a locker-room? Bryce seems pretty popular and a team leader. A move like that will sour alot of the chemistry that this team finally appears to have, perhaps thanks to Bryce? Let me be clear I’m not a Bryce defender. I think his best case is a game manager that only succeeds on teams whose identity is an elite defense and a power run game. I think he’s played good enough though to keep moving this season forward with him.
