Has all the physical tools for sure. There isn't a throw he can't make. He would be starting for a major team if he did not make a bonehead play a game, which the right NFL team could work with. I see him as a solid backup with starter potential in the right system.

This is a pretty good assessment of Joey Aguilar. Thanks. I've mentioned to several people that I think he's the first QB to get drafted out of App St that I can remember. I do not count Armanti because we messed that up. Aguilar has a bit of Favre to him.

Is there any scenario in which the NFL competition committee steps in and forces change in Carolina? Maybe 3 straight years of the worst record with no improvement? Imagine the top prospects refusing to sign here if drafted, devaluing our future #1 picks.

Possibly. At some point it becomes a Canales try out though. Dark days ahead sadly.

I'd like to give Canales an actual chance. Like let him select his own QB next draft and not whoever the Teppers get warm and fuzzies over.

The walls are starting to close in on Bryce. I think he has 3-4 games to show something or this is it.

We tried our best though, which of course we failed at.

Last year I thought we were 5 years away from sniffing the playoffs. Well, good news, it's down to 4.
