    Even with all the other parts included this is a HUGE return for Necas compared to what some here were willing to move him for during the off season.

    I think he has a shot of that in Colorados system him feeding Mcdavid he's gonna rack up assists. Rantanen is a pure goal scorer who can also distribute he won't get Rantanen numbers but I could see him putting up 30 50 with Colorado

    It's not really arguable he's been Mckinnons Draisaitl.... top 5 in points the last five years, 55 goal season will probably have his fourth 40+ this year. He's a superstar he was PPG plus even with Mckinnon out. We have that now. This guy CAN SCORE

    For all of our complaining this year, we are still a top 4 team in the NHL.... Let that sink in. Adding a previous 50 goal scorer and current pace 40 goal guy is a huge shot in the arm to scoring. With our goalies healthy I suspect we get the defensive issues in hand.

    Slavin cranks up the physicality in the Playoffs though I loved game 7 agaist the bruins a few years back when he put Marchand into the bench about 30 feet from me.
