  1. Not to be a debbie downer but the majority of the jets starters weren’t drafted by the jets. they aren’t a good team to use for a tanking example bc they historically have been a bad drafting football team.
  2. These are poor examples for your argument. There are rumors that the jets may switch back to Flacco bc Wilson just looks lost on the field, and it’s true. lawrence has regressed since weeks 1 and 2. He doesn’t look like a top overall pick / generational quarterback right now.
  3. It’s the catch themselves we are speaking to. He showed great technique. They weren’t body catches. They were hands catches and the way he positioned his body to secure the catch was something you’d see good to great receivers do.
  4. This. we have about 5 potential pro bowlers on the roster from stats alone. It isn’t just up to the fans.
  5. Aside from his drop... i was a little bit impressed on his catch technique..... Thoughts?
  6. CMC is replacing Jeff Wilson, so Id assume the same way they used Wilson.
  7. Whos nervous about watching CMC?
  8. you might want to google nfl draft 2023 levis.... its pretty much a given he will be the guy unless he atrociously fails for some reason the rest of the season. He is the most QB, QB in this draft.
  9. Wilks making sure we don’t win today all on his lonesome
  10. I wouldnt be surprised if we were able to get a late pick for him. He has been one of our best run defenders.
  11. He is actually top 10 for DEs in the NFL against the run. Also top 10 for tackles for loss as well. He has played the run very well this year.
  12. Ever since NBC bough rotoworld..... they've gotten really lazy... this blurb has so many incorrect statements. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Panthers rejected a trade offer of "two first-round picks" for EDGE Brian Burns. This has the feel of a marketing stunt done to increase the value of the offers Carolina has actually received. The Panthers were reportedly not moving on from Christian McCaffrey for any less than multiple first-round picks until he was sent off in a deal that didn't include a single first. Burns is set to hit free agency and currently has four sacks, putting him on pace for a career year. That also puts him on track for a massive payday. Unless the Panthers assign him the franchise tag, they will be forced to give Burns a long-term deal. If they are truly looking to rebuild, moving on from Burns before he becomes one of the highest-paid EDGE players would be a prudent move.
  13. Good. That at least sets the floor for offers if we do consider the trade. There is no way that Burns nets us less than what the Raiders paid for Khalil Mack
  14. its not at a restaurant. I dont do food spots for brunch due to that exact reason you just brought up, haha. Its uptown at the Vue at a friend's apartment. I will be crushing bloodies and bourbons
  15. Havve to do the brunch thing today with the wife and friends. Gonna miss this one. I expect a loss.
  16. for me right now the only tradeable is Shaq. If Burns were to go... it would have to be multiple firsts and a mid to late mid pick. Its just too much production to give up at one of the most valuable positions in the game.
  17. trading him before June 1 wouldnt be ideal for dead cap and salary cap reasons. I get there would be interest, but if we hold onto him we actually would be in a better position of moving him off the roster at a later point, unless the offer is above expectations.
