BLAKE MARTINEZLB, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT Giants released LB Blake Martinez. Coming off a torn ACL, Martinez restructured his contract in the spring, but that still wasn't enough for the Giants' new brain trust. It is confusing after Martinez's restructure, but reporter Art Stapleton believes Martinez's release frees up roughly $3.5 million in additional cap space. It also leaves behind $4 million in dead money. Martinez was a solid defensive contributor as recently as 2020, so if he can prove his health, he might not take long to find a new job on the workout circuit.

fair pull of an article. When he came here we only used him at SS. He was below average for us and then got injured and stayed injured. Franklin is a much bigger contributor than he is.

Franklin is our best special teams player. He also can play both safety spots. Burris can not play nickel... i dont know where you got that.

id take back any compliment of Fitts if he traded both. It would make no sense for depth reasons.

This just doesn’t seem to make sense to me. Maybe teams called us but I don’t think we are actively seeking trade partners.

No one will unseat Seifert. The guy didnt even give a fug. There probably isnt many on this message board that actually had to sit through his tenure here, be thankful.

I hate the media. It wasn’t even an interview, it was a passing by exchange. I get that it’s her job but based on how she shared what happened … it wasn’t intended to be repeated by any media outlet.

not to be funny but there is a playbook in madden is this same formation. I wouldnt mind us getting creative out of the formation.

you really have to feel for the jags.... they just dont keep their early round picks.... Ramsey, Fournette, Henderson, Viska, and DJ Chark all come to mind.
