Looks like the Broncos think they will lock up Payton today in LA. They expect to give him everything that he wants to make it happen, possibly today. Please note, Walmart has more money than Tepper, not that it would get that ridiculous. https://www.milehighreport.com/platform/amp/2023/1/17/23558475/sean-payton-rumors-broncos-to-interview-in-los-angeles

One thing is for sure, Tepper will not hand out 7 year contracts with prospective coaches moving forward.

I view Payton in the same light as Parcells, Holmgren, Coughlin, and Carroll. Remember, Sean Payton came from the Bill Parcells tree which would help this team with grit and discipline. Nothing is certain, however Payton most likely would have this team in the playoffs in year 2. Worst case scenario, he would set this franchise in the right direction, which is more than I can say about an unproven commodity or rookie head coach.

Bwhahahaha Peyton Manning just told Dan Campbell that they would bite some knee caps when they return from the break. Hilarious!!

The panthers were going to but he didn’t get enough votes.

Panthers receive permission to interview Sean Payton

Ok things have picked up tremendously in the last 24 hours. Payton will interview with Tepper in New York on Friday. Fangio has already interviewed for a DC role. The Panthers have also requested to speak with Kris Richard the current Saints Co-Defensive Coordinator. This just in, Harbaugh is now recommitted to the Michigan Wolverines. I believe it will come down to Denver and Carolina for Payton’s services. Denver’s backup was Harbaugh so that means they will push hard for Payton. I suspect the next week and a half will be a wild ride, with information leaning for each destination. I believe Payton was always the play. Payton let it slip in November that he may have had a conversation with Tepper (unofficially). -
To me this is a sign.

I can’t say that hiring Payton would translate to a Lombardi trophy, but I can tell you that it would give us instant credibility among the league in attracting free agents, put a$$es in seats and drum up interest in the team. Does that translate to the W column, hard to tell. I personally believe if the get a rookie Head Coach we will have to go through a year or more on the learning curve. How to manage the game. -
I think you may be thinking about David Mayo. Different cat.

Here is an article to the official rumor. How can an All American brand survive now that it is own by a foreign entity? https://dknation.draftkings.com/platform/amp/2023/1/10/23549613/wwe-sale-rumors-news-reports-saudi-arabia-investment-fund-vince-mcmahon

Word on the street is that the WWE has been sold to the Saudi Arabia Investment Fund, and it will be taken private. Wow for any wrestling fans.

That is 2 goals on Coghlan, period.

McVay is under contract until 2026. I wonder if someone will offer the farm to get his services next year? Someone will have to give up a ton of draft capital. The Rams need all the help they can get, especially if Donald hangs it up.

I was thinking the same about Wilks. lol

Add another coach to the carousel, more importantly another landing spot for potential suitors.

I to am a lifelong Cub fan. Been a fan since Fergie Jenkins. The 2016 World Series win was the greatest win of any team in the last 40 years. BTW the win against the cowboys in 1996 was a close second, wonder if Switzer knows where Charlotte is now?

Who played their last game as a Panther today?
philit99 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Josh Norman, Sam Darnold, and maybe Bozeman and Foreman if we don’t act fast.
