What I heard it was moved to Wednesday as the Beyonce concert needs more set up time in advance.

It's a 2 way street. It starts with the teams performance, but I have seen us playing good and the crowd doesn't get loud on defense. I've been to other stadiums where they are loud and proud no matter what. We have to see it first (some good play), but being optimistic will help the fans. When they see we can make plays when 3 & long or stop the other team on a 3rd and 1, they will get loud. And then when the team needs to the crowd to help drown out the other teams QBs and the signal calls, the fans need to help. Bring back home field advantage. From 2013 to about 2018 we had a 75% home field winning %.

Cam brought life to BofA. In 2013 he started to give input to the music that he and the other players liked. As the stadium DJ we went away from just jock jams to a more variety. Winning made the energy higher and the music sound better. The last few years (different bosses) and with losing and with NO Cam, the energy was gone and music is different. Can't play happy fun songs while losing. Fans lost interest in the game as it went. Winning will cure it for sure but it also starts with the fans. Don't sell your ticket to opposing fans. Be loud when at the stadium no matter what. Then you become part of the culture. The music/audio when on defense has to stop no later that 20 seconds left on the play clock. It's up to fans (through video prompts) to keep the noise level up and the last few years we have not. 3rd down should be deafening. New team, new players, new coaches and a new attitude. Hopefully the fans come back loud and proud and give the team a chance.

Seriously? He said he was learning the 1st year and a 1/2. Then Covid hit and he couldn't get in the building. Last year he gets in an Evaluates and starts making the changes necessary. Sounds like a smart man who learned a new business.

a DE will take a year or 2 to contribute or be a star. A WR the same. But a quality CB could be good immediately. I also like LB but would they be a difference maker at 39? I also see TE almost as much as CB.

I really think they traded up for Young, with CJ as a plan B if the Texans wanted Young so bad they made a trade. Young is generational. Listen to the interviews. He played against some serious competition. I like both, but Young is Peyton Manning smart, just in a small body. They way they protect the QBs these days I don't think it's an issue (anybody can get hurt on any given play). Like I said, I think they like CJ if they had to draft #2 and got some picks out of it.

Personally, who cares. Both Young and CJ will be successful with this staff. I trust who they pick.

I don't, but in watching some per draft specials and other tidbits, it's sounds like Young is mentioned more with Texans than CJ in what fits what they want to do. What that is, IDK.

Why? When they got the pick they said they were open to a move. The Texans are known to like Young more and the Bears hoped to get the Texans to trade with them when they had the pick. If the Panthers like both for different reasons, why not get some picks and still get a guy you like. It might not happen but it does make sense with those scenarios.

Or... They like both and know the Texans really want Young and they're trying to nudge them into a trade swap, get a couple of more picks and then take CJ. Think about it. If the Texans want Young and they feel we'll take him and not fall to them, then they just might jump. Who's got the best poker face?

He was good with the Cowboys (as a 3rd WR) and is about 7 mil a year. Good stats the last 2 years with the Cowboys, just didn't do much with the Dolphins. Would he be a good option to make drafting a WR one less thing to worry about?

Fitterer is very smart. He has a value for each position in the grand scheme and he won't go over. That's how you make it all work. It's a long term plan.

Like many players I get to know, DJ Moore was cool. From texts about what music he liked to having fun teaching him a DJ trick to seeing the way he was with his family. Cool dude, solid player, good family guy and fun teammate. Fans don't get to see the human side to it and as it stinks to see him have to move his family and go. I understand it's a business and will always support the team and I always be a DJ Moore fan. The screen of a text from him was before I knew his number and I had no idea who it was.

Just comparing the Tenn game vs the GA game, I would take CJ. I trust Fitterer and staff to make the right call based on the offense they want to run and what pieces they put around the QB.

Let's say the price is too high to move up to 1 or 3. "Look at what SF gave up to get Lance and he's done nothing in 2 years". It's a risk. If the Bears don't get a huge haul they can just take a great player - not a QB. Maybe we get in at 5 or 6 and take Levis as CJ Stroud and Young will be gone in the top 4. But if you stay put and AR is at 9, do you take him and build around him, like a TE and WR in the 2nd through 4th? Is 9 to high for AR. He is a project and I can't see teams moving up to get him that high. If you look at Fields who dropped to 11 and he had more production on tape. Even if you resign Sam for a year, give Corral a shot to develop and AR some time, you can still have a playoff team with a good draft and a couple of good FA pick ups and then go for it all by 2024. I trust in Fitterer and the FO to do what is best so I'm just thinking out loud.

I really liked and have som much respect for Wilks (met him personally a few times) but I understand the offensive minded approach the Panthers wanted to go. What Wilks did with a wounded team what great. I bet if we didn't collapse during the Bengals game and had a better showing at the Bucs it might be different. (Falcons loss wasn't on him). I would like to believe if he did get the Panthers to the playoffs, that would have been enough to get the long term job. But what sucks in the NFL is if you have a great coordinator, they get taken and you can't build consistency. Look at the Bills this year vs last without Daboll. You almost need an offensive minded HC to keep the QB and offense consistent. That, IMO, is probably why they didn't go with Wilks. If they hired a defensive minded coach, they everybody would have rightfully screamed foul and may have been right, but they didn't.

With ALL that talent on that roster, why would you believe that OC is worth a HC job? I would think the NYG OC Kafka did more with a lot less talent. The Eagles are loaded with talented players. And those plays were not amazing play designs, just good plays by good players and there's too many to cover.

Do you listen to what they say. They are going to keep trying until they get someone at QB. Develop or trade. It's not easy finding or landing a franchise QB. They started with Teddie and who knows if that was Rhule or Brady or Teddy or the combination why that didn't work out. They tried for Stafford and even Watson, there was nobody else out there. When they got Darnold and gave him the extra year, it was a calculated risk. 18 mil for 1 year, but if he plays good that first year, he's getting 35+ mil a year with like 60-100 mil guaranteed. They took a calculated risk. Trading for CJ was again a calculated risk. A 9th overall pick maybe just needed a change of scenery. He's a good 3rd or 4th CB. We just needed him to start at the end, which was over his head. At least they are trying. The trades to move up and down the draft have been smart. Not every move is gonna work out but the core is there and we might be a few moves and a good coach from making the playoffs. We almost made it to the end with what we had at the end.

I will start by saying I am a huge GM Scott Fitterer fan. Down to earth and common sense smart guy. I like the chances he took. Some worked, some didn't. I believe the formula of building the trenches, added some speed last year and now going for playmakers this coming year is solid planning. I've talked with him, he's about value and fitting it all in the cap. You can't go all in if you're not ready to go for the SB (like the Eagles getting AJ Brown, etc). Fans wanna sign this guy or that guy but it's gotta time out and play out right. Look at Buffalo going all in with Von Miller and he's out. Rams got lucky last year but they're out of this for years. Injuries and a helluva lot of distractions held this team back from at least making the playoffs this past year, even if they wouldn't have gone far. IMO, they didn't take the Burns deal because the 1st round picks were 2024 and 2025, not 2023. The defense didn't go backwards. Changes and injuries kept them from progressing forward. In 2023 I see them possibly trading up to #3 for a QB (Cards) as the Bears don't need one and the Texans will take one. After that pick #4 on need a QB so if one of the top 2 are still there, I can see them taking a chance at 3. Otherwise wait to see who's at 9 or even trade back slightly to like 12 or 13 and get someone. But build a solid team of playmakers. Even Sam played better with a solid O-line. Give Matt a chance and either draft someone or sign a good QB like Daniel Jones if he wants to come back to NC and needed a change of scenery. Not saying he's the answer, but like that. I wouldn't go all in for drafting a QB and then don't have the pieces around him to make the team or that young QB successful. They are going to keep taking chances and develop QBs until they hit which is the only thing you can do. And Yes, the HC and staff will play a major part in all that. But I trust Scott and Dan Morgan (if he doesn't get picked up) to build a winner next year (meaning at least a winning season that makes the playoffs. Again I think 2022 showed some good things and what they need to fix. I am optimistic about 2023 as there is no definitive front runner. Positive or negative whats your thoughts on the season and future?

Taking over being the captain on a sinking ship, then you lose your best player, gimme a break. He did a real good job. The players love him, the people in the building like him, the city likes him. Give them a good draft, a couple of good signings and a creative OC. Sam and Matt with a drafted QB, that O-line and with our 2 starting CBs back. Even the WR's couldn't get open with that O-line and protection. Need another great WR so 3 wide could actually scare someone deep. With the Rams and other teams needing coaches it's gonna be a battle. At least interesting to see.
