CMC has never been a leader.

I don't think he likes vocal leaders. I think he wants to be THE GUY that everyone looks to and depends on. Friggin narcissist.

let's see your top 6 selections for Carolina's 1.6 pick

1-6 best OL available. -
Tepper has kept his mouth shut. He's not trying to convince us of anything. You're right, though. This is worse than JR, tbh, which is hard to do. I thought we were going to see a guy that is involved. Has he made any fan appearances lately? Either he's too embarrassed or doesn't want to deal with the the fans who aren't buying in to what he's got going on. I hope he's embarrassed, but then why wouldn't he be doing something unless he's too weak to do anything about it.

First, I kept hearing about this culture that Rhule is trying to establish that it supposedly takes 5 years to create. So exactly what is that culture supposed to look like? What kind of culture is it? One thing that I think has been lacking for years, going back to the year after the Superbowl, one thing I think we've been lacking is a hunger. I think that loss knocked it out of us. I mean for years before that we always had parts of the team that was hungry, but that just went away and we didn't have strong enough leadership to overcome that. Rhule has done nothing to establish that. That's what good leaders do and it doesn't take years to do that. Rivera was weak... likeable, but weak in that department. It seems like Rhule and Tepper (evidenced by the taking away of "keep pounding") don't want it here, which makes it hard to be a fan.

The small hands thing is in his head, which is bad. Let's me know he's prone to have a long memory and let things get to him and stay with him. We'd see lots of funks that take weeks to get out of.

Me too. If we don't address the OL long term in FA at LT or center, then I think we have to take advantage of this class of OL with #6. If we are going to go QB, give me Willis over Pickett. Pickett reminds me too much of Darnold only just a little better. I don't think Willis is anything special, but if we're bound and determined to get a QB, then Willis would be the more entertaining option.

Joe Person on Carolina’s recent staffing moves.

If it's not positive towards the people in power I like, it's fake news. -
Free agency De’Vondre Campbell or Foyesade Oluokon.

Albright: Panthers circling on Pickett

Darnold did a few things well, too. -
Rhule's teams don't do that. They start off hot getting everyone excited for the first few games then flatlines the rest of the season while Rhule is standing there scratching his ass and trying to convince himself everything is still going how it should and the plan is still working.

I hope he stepped up. Not crazy about an owner getting involved too much, but when your coach is Rhule and your aren't gonna fire him, you need to set parameters. -
I got rid of him but I'm sure he'll be back.

Knock it off.
-
Wouldn't count on it unless he gets someone to do his stunts for him.

They might have set us up for success later on more than horn. Definitely more than darnold. But I am definitely thinking more that OL would have been a better choice than a CB in the first and much better than the WR we got in the second. It just wasn't a good call in either room and considering how much OL talent there was and how great a need there was/is. Yeah, CB was an issue, but not as big an issue as OL. WR wasn't an issue, though, not compared to OL. And we totally muffed it
-
Should happen, or better yet replace Rhule with Flores, but it's not gonna happen. Tepper is too foolishly invested in Rhule. The manipulative con man has Tepper by the brass balls.
-
I think horn will be great, but that wasn't the right decision to make. We could have had someone that would have made a much bigger impact on the game/season/future overall. OL or QB would have been a much wiser choice.

Its not like it's their job or something. I deal with truck drivers at work ...a lot of them. Some are really bad. Yeah, they are probably better than me right now, but then I didn't train for it and I haven't tried to make my living doing it. It doesn't take an expert driver to notice that when it takes 20 minutes to back into a door that they might be bad at their job. I just wish that we had evidence that Rhule was better than us huddlers. So far I haven't seen evidence he has a clue what he's doing as an evaluator. He's definitely not better than average Joe's we've got in here
-
Lol you make it sound like Rhule knows what the hell he's doing and he's running a successful operation here. Talk about delusional.
-
What makes you think Rhule is any better?
-
It's Rhule's choice. Not Fit. What Rhule wants, Rhule gets.
