With Cleveland and new Orleans ahead and brandin cooks on the board I pulled the trigger. Good move or dumb?

I think bad move, without knowing any of the other specifics. I think that a guy like Latimer could easily be as good in the pros as Cooks, which, if he was still available, would've left you with the 3rd round pick in this draft. When I look at this draft, I see the 3rd being full of quality players, and giving up that pick, even though it's late in the round, seems like a bad idea to me.

Overall, I don't see the return on investment on those picks versus who else was on the board and who could be there in the 3rd.

I wanted speed to go with my second round pick of Jordan Matthews. I'm then going to try to trade back up for ot in the third

Yeah, I dont like that move given how deep this draft is. I would have risked Cooks being taken and kept my picks.

I don't really like the trade, but landing Cooks to pair with Matthews is a very exciting tandem with loads of potential.
