Fantasy coaching staff...

Our recent coaching search got me thinking. Who would be included in your pipe dream coaching staff?

General Manager: Ken Holland (Red Wings)

Assistant General Manager: Ryan Martin (Red Wings)

Head Coach: Joel Quenneville (Blackhawks)

Assistant Coaches: Rod Brind'Amour (Hurricanes) - Scott Stevens (Devils) - Phil Housley (Predators)

Goaltending Coach: Bill Ranford (Kings)

Director of Forwards Development: Bill Guerin (Penguins)

Director of Defensemen Development: Barry Smith (Blackhawks)

Director of Goaltender Development: Kim Dillabaugh (Kings)

I picked the Red Wings managers because I think they have had the most complete teams over the years.

I have Quenneville as my HC because duhh.

I think having former players as assistant coaches would be very beneficial for the players. I have 2 former forwards and 1 former defenseman.

I have Ranford as the Goaltending coach because the Kings have had 3-4 really good goalies in recent history.

I chose Guerin as Director of Forwards Development because the Pens have done a really good job with their forwards.

Barry Smith is the Director of Defensemen Development because the Blackhawks have one of the best or the best group of defensemen in the NHL.

Kim Dillabaugh is the Director of Goaltending Development much for the reason I mentioned for Ranford.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
