PJ Hairston Appreciation Thread

Depending on if we make any more roster moves, I see him playing a little 2 and some 3 in limited roles. He will give us some offensive punch off the bench.

I don't expect much from him this year, but he can develop into a really nice player, possibly a starter, and if everything goes right and falls into place, perhaps an all-star

Best case scenario would be him developing into a 20ppg 6th man (Harden-Lite) behind Stephenson/MKG.

Summer League.

Nothing more than a glorified pickup game.

Bad shot selection is the norm in such an event.

I wouldnt read a whole lot into anything that transpires these 2 weeks.

I am not reading any more into it than that. I just hope PJ understands the difference in what will be expected of him in that area though.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
