the college football season starts this week. lets keep a running thread of guys that stick out to you, that could be on the panthers radar. scouts have already begun to make their rounds to colleges and universities to scout specific guys. here are some guys that stick out to me, and who i have been watching cut ups on this summer. i will be keeping an eye on these prospects and others.

Brandon Scherff , OT Iowa

Cedric Ogbuehi, OT Texas A&M

Sammie Coats, WR Auburn

Randy Gregory, DE Nebraska

Andrus Peat, OT Stanford

Ifo Ekpre Olomu, CB Oregon

La'el Collins, OT LSU

Landon Collins, S Bama

Amari Cooper, WR Bama

PJ Williams, CB FSU

Ronald Darby, CB FSU

Josh Shaw, DB USC

Todd Gurley, RB Georgia

Mike Davis, RB South Carolina

Rashad Greene, WR FSU

Cam Erving, OT FSU

Marcus Peters, CB Washington

Ty Montgomery, WR Stanford

Devante Parker, WR Louisville- injured

Stefon Diggs, WR Maryland

i still feel like WR is a need, so that is why so many are on my watch list. guys who have potential to beat DBs vertically up the field with speed, and returner types.

ANTWAN GOODLEY!!!!!

Dorial Green-Beckham

Goodley is a decent prospect, but i have to watch more of him. he is built like a RB, but plays WR. also DGB is a freak athlete with great size. wins at high pointing, but everything right now says he will return to Oklahoma to play college ball in 2015. plus his off the field issues will keep teams away, but they shouldn't. hopefully he can keep his nose clean, and practice and train with the team. Tyrann some what stayed low key, and was still drafted in the 3rd round.

Goodley is a WR trapped in a RB body. However, the kid possess WR speed which will still benefit his game as a legit WR. He got to be the most explosive player in college football season right now. I think by draft day, he'll be a top3 WR (1st rounder).

I hate to compare him back to two former Baylor receivers, but he's built like a thicker Kendall Wright and reminds me a lot of JOSH GORDON.

I like him more than Brandin Cooks. Goodley is a serious deep threat.

    • Good, our ST is almost as bad as our ILB depth!
    • With two starters on expiring contracts (Moton + Corbett) as well as a few back-ups (Christensen, Mays, and Nijman), the Panthers are likely going to have to reinvest in the OL after this coming season. Icky's fifth-year option was picked up by the team this offseason while Lewis and Hunt both remain under contract then (though Lewis' deal is set-up in a way that would let Carolina move on from him then as well). I think that the team is going to be looking at investing a premium pick at RT should Bryce's development continue, and might even look to double dip at the position in order to have a swing tackle that can also kick inside when needed. There's also the question of starting center... Prospects I'm watching this upcoming college season... Centers Jake Slaughter (Florida) Iapani Laloulu (Oregon) Connor Lew (Auburn) Logan Jones (Iowa) Parker Brailsford (Alabama) Connor Tollison (Missouri) Bryce Foster (Kentucky) Pat Coogan Notre Dame) Raheem Anderson (Michigan) Carson Hinzman (Ohio State) RTs Francis Mauigoa (Miami) Kadyn Proctor (Alabama) Spencer Fano (Utah) Gennings Dunker (Iowa) Blake Miller (Clemson) Isaiah World (Oregon) Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern) Monroe Feeling (Georgia) Earnest Greene III (Georgia) Monroe Mills (Louisville) Charles Jagusah (Notre Dame) Tree Babalade (South Carolina) Trey Zuhn III (Texas A&M) Nolan Rucci (Penn State) Tristan Leigh (Clemson) Fernando Carmona (Arkansas) JC Davis (Illinois) Riley Mahlman (Wisconsin) PJ Williams (SMU) Tosh Baker (Notre Dame) Aki Ogunbiyi (Texas A&M) Courtland Ford (Kentucky) Ethan Onianwa (Rice)
    • I watched documentary on the 2010 Auburn season and Cam wasn’t included in that either. I think he just doesn’t care for these things
