I sure not 12 but don't even think I want to be that young again. I am 78 and was a Combat Medic Nam 67-68. 2nd bat 39 Inf Batalion 9 Inf.Div. Got to talk to Tiny Lister once back when I worked for AT&T. He was a nice guy. -
The team signed undrafted rookie JJ Weaver from Kentucky. The 25-year-old Weaver played six seasons in college (with injury waivers), and had 21.5 sacks. He was a three-time team captain for the Wildcats. To make room for him on the roster, the Panthers released outside linebacker Amare Barno. Barno, a sixth-round pick in 2022, tore his ACL late in the 2023 season and began last year on the physically unable to perform list. He had 3.0 sacks in three seasons, appearing in 29 games. Sad to see. He seemed to have a lot of potential when he was drafted. Injuries really derailed him though.
